In this task am going to research about changes that occurs on the design and creation of graphic images. The output media and the effects are continuously changing, they getting better, portable and safer to use. The output mediums that I will evaluate and show changes will be: printers, monitors and mobile phones.
Monitors
Monitors are changing rapidly, mostly in last 10 year there was a big jump. The hardware and many features are now available. When the first monitors came up they were big in size (thick) and they were bulky and only displayed a black and green screen, with used to hurt eyes, this monitors were known as CRT monitors with stand for cathode ray tube and mainly were used by large organisations. The hardware in these monitors were dangerous for humans and other living organisms as if they were on for too long they would give poisonous gases.
However now we can buy monitors with better hardware, as most of monitors now days are made of mostly LCD (liquid crystal display). They are better as they ensure better quality of monitors and the pixels are always in high resolution. In market light emitting diode monitors are available to, they are very thin as the light is emitted at the back of the monitor. This method reduces the size and increase the quality with shows a big step from the first monitors. The Led monitors are better for graphical users as due to increased resolution of the pixels it makes better for graphical users to work on them and display them as the contrast output is immense on Led monitors. Now manufactures have made them HD so they are even better and it is possible to watch movies and TV shows on them. Users have a choice of size of the monitor, which is useful as not everyone user wants t...

...ferent sizes, with user can pick to draw the image. Better graphics tablets supports HD display with different viewings such as 178o viewing angle and a different ratios such as 16:10 aspect ratio. Some tablets can also be colour calibrated for colour-sensitive workflow.
Some better graphics tablets come with different software’s such as Photoshop Elements 6.0 and with high resolutions such as 4000 Ipi and 1024 pressure level.
Normal tablets provide easy, natural touchscreen computing for all users. They are good for reading, watching films or watching the photos and graphics images. Some of the tablets have high storage with allows to store many images. Many tablets have built in Bluetooth with means that when user is taking image it can send to the tablets and see the image and or edit it. So it means that it is a perfect device for people who do graphics editing
10. The main qualities to look for in an LCD monitor are price, size, brightness, contrast ratio and resolution.
I am a current student of Thompson Rivers University and I would like to have a device that would easily provide me with accessible data and personal files, as there is a lack of available computers in the computer laboratories. This need has prompted me to the idea to buy a tablet. Many factors would convince me to purchase a particular model/brand, such as: national/religion and geographical environment, social status, and age. My interest to a modern device is a result of the upbringing in a modern society, with achievements in the field of electronic equipment and attendant skills of a consumer and corresponding set of values. Having a background in computer science, I know how important it is to have a good quality
The ergonomic product that I have researched is the Thin Film Transistor Liquid Crystal Display (TFT-LCD). This product is a computer screen display that produces a variant of liquid crystal display that utilizes thin film transistor technology that produces better image quality. This product boosts visual work performance, as well as space and energy savings because of its new technology and low luminosity and eye-saving color combinations. Although I will be focusing largely on the computer screen, the TFT-LCD also comes in televisions, flat-panel displays and projectors (Ivergard and Hunt 130). Th...
Handheld displays are computing devices with a display that the user can hold in their hands. Video-see-through techniques overlay graphics onto the real environment and employ sensors, such as GPS units, Microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), and accelerometers for their six degrees of freedom tracking. Currently smart-phones and Tablet PCs are the most popular types of handheld device. Smart-phones and tablets are very portable and have many capabilities. They are becoming increasingly more powerful with advances in their hardware and software capabilities. This makes them a very
Graphics card – This is a computer hardware that makes up what you see on your monitor. It is essential that you have this hardware for the computer as it converts the data from your CPU, to a signal that makes the monitor understand what you want to see. If you were to have a really good graphics card, then the monitor will appear smoother and sharper. The images is created when the CPU receives the data from the software and then it works together with the graphics card to translate that data to what the monitor can understand. The calculations that the card has to go through, is first to make a wire frame out of the straight lines. Once it has done this it will move on to fill in the remaining pixels also known as rasterising. It would also as the colour, lighting and texture to the image.
Up until 1935, televisions were not electric as they are today. They were mechanical, powered by a small motor with a spinning disc and a neon lamp. The picture projected was very small, sometimes half the size of a business card, and only showed shades of orange and red. From 1935 up until World War II, the electric television was perfected and made ready for public distribution. The electric television provided a much larger, clearer screen with a full range of colors. In 1948-1949, during the post-WWII spending craze, the television became a must-have item for every American family, bringing a world of information and entertainment into living rooms across the country and changing the way Americans viewed many things.
Technology and social change have long been vital in the evolution of graphic design and its importance in the society. In particular was the Industrial Revolution between 1760 and 1840, which brought about the transformation from agrarian to industrialized societies across Europe and America. Mass production was made possible by new technologies; availability and variety of goods increased and cost of manufacturing decreased, accompanied by the higher standard of living for many people. A consequence of mass production on graphic design was that it led to the demise of the unity between design and production. Craftsmen were replaced by modern technologies, sacrificing artistry for speed and cheaper production.
Many do not consider where images they see daily come from. A person can see thousands of different designs in their daily lives; these designs vary on where they are placed. A design on a shirt, an image on a billboard, or even the cover of a magazine all share something in common with one another. These items all had once been on the computer screen or on a piece of paper, designed by an artist known as a graphic designer. Graphic design is a steadily growing occupation in this day as the media has a need for original and creative designs on things like packaging or the covers of magazines. This occupation has grown over the years but still shares the basic components it once started with. Despite these tremendous amounts of growth,
Of all new advancements, the digital space arguably has the most outstanding effect on illustration, encroaching on our reality and the meaning of physical space within the field. As the digital space expands and further accommodates more aspects of the global illustrator’s life, we may come to a point (or are already at the point) where there is novelty in the restricted physical space; in a physical artwork, studio or gallery. It has changed the playing field and the rules of the game- knowledge and new innovations are developing rapidly, with a possibility of overtaking tradition through convenience. Not only has digital technology affected how illustration is received and displayed, but also how it is created- in the proliferation of digital

Hand Held Devises a small LCD screen can easily and effectively provide a convient output. Just like having a Computer Monitor but smaller and lighter.
Visual communication is to take diverse information and designs it for both print and screen based media, also from print like newspapers magazines, books and tickets to the screen like web interfaces, film titles to right through to environmental applications. Therefore, it need designer to creative thinking and an eye for detail. As an integral part of the culture, visual communication design is an exciting and growing industry where vision and creativity are involved in . It helps the designer show their creative skills in the mass media, internet , film and television and so on . Vision effects plays an important role in the sense of motion in most of the movie industry(Krasner, 2008). However, in the study of visual communication, most of the students take wrong path while to perform their creative and smart design. Pranayama (2006) said the ethical awareness and responsibility towards the world that lived in and society lived with are important for the vision communication design and creation. Therefore, to effective use visual communication design in the film industry or other perspectives are important. In order to critical discussion the visual communication design in the movie industry, the author mainly focus on the movie of 'Life of Pie' and ' Inception' to carry out this paper.
Both printed media and electronic media are in a constant state comparison, both competing to super pass each other. Both of the medium have their own unique features through their advantage, disadvantages and popularity. This basic point of the comparison.
As I have been using some of the graphics software program such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop CS6 their lots of innovation and creation to play around and I have used...
Technology has gone from colorless block televisions and giant computer to computers you could fit on your fingertip and televisions that are flat and 3 Dimensional. Now they even are making holograms and televisions that go into an even better quality of graphics. There are thousands
