Suppose you’re coming home from a late night game and it’s 9:30 when you finally get home just to see your parents waiting for you in the living room. They ask why you are so late and you explain to them that you had a game and they knew that, but that was no excuse and you still get grounded. There are many reasons why teen agers should not have a curfew, some being; teens want freedom, they can’t hang out with their friends at night, some sporting events go past 9:00, and many many more. The fact that there is a curfew gives many parents some peace of mind. Many parents feel the need to give their child a curfew just so they as parents can feel better.
