China has a long history country which is my home country. A lot different between China and United States. It came from many ways. People do believe it is disrespect when you talk to someone and you don't look at him or her. But when you talk to friends, it really doesn't matter to us. In some situation that eye contact is very important to people. It can change a lot things. Chinese adult also thinks that children have eye contact with adults that can show the self-confidence. Americans still have all eye contact with people. Whoever that person is, which is good. As I said, that showing a respect to people that you talk to. Giving people a signal that you are talking to him. It is a base skill that everybody does have. Gestures Some Chinese point with their middle finger without realizing that it has a vulgar meaning in the West. Conversely, a thumb placed between the middle and index fingers is an obscene gesture in some parts of China. For example, this old, normal gesture we don’t really use. Just let you know, from yesterday to next two weeks is traditional Chinese New Year. People passed the 2016 to 2017 was from yesterday. The day that made the New Year passed were both different.
