My project mainly focuses on relatively new field of study in Information Technology known as cryptography. This topic will take an in-depth look at this technology by introducing various concepts of cryptography, a brief history of cryptography and a look at some of the cryptography techniques available today. This will have a close look at how we can use cryptography in an open-systems environment such as the Internet, as well as some of the tools and resources available to help us accomplish this.
1.1 Problem Statement:
When data of three different files image, video, or audio when sent directly to the receiver end, we have a problem of hacking and misuse of the data. In today’s life Data hackers are becoming more common. So, with my project, I want to encrypt the data file to different multimedia document by the process of embedding an audio, video, or image files. The data after encryption can be retrieved by using decryption. It is concerned with embedding information in a harmless cover Speech in a safe and secure manner by Steganography. To make the files highly secure, we are using these systems Steganography and Cryptography.
1.2 Approach:
Cryptography is the art of hiding messages inside other messages so that the very being of the message will not see or read by those other than the intended recipient. The goal of Steganography is to hide data from others; Cryptography’s purpose is to make data unreadable by others. By using software, files can place a hidden characteristic in their product, allowing them to check on piracy for the update of content. The hidden characteristics in the file are called a watermark. The hidden set of characters or serial numbers is known as figure printing that distinguishes an object fr...

...rite a code for image or audio or video data encryption and decryption. No, in the cryptography we are not designing an experiment it is an observations. The main feature point of this topic is the data in file is fully secured and not stolen by other users. There is no control system involved in this topic. There is no particular thing to measure the performance like error, profit and energy etc.
By using my project one data file is converted into multimedia file of image video and audio file by cryptography and steganography. This is the most valid point in my project to accomplish the best results and this is my contribution to the field. The data of my system is collecting from different standards of cryptanalysis and used to validation of my project.
The advantages of this Audio, video and image Cryptography are:
• High level Security
• Cost effective transfer
This program uses mainly on the concept of cryptology. Cryptology is the study about secret communication between two parties, where there is a presence of a third party known as adversaries, and that party knows nothing about the content of the communication (Rivest, 1990).
Biometric and encryption sounds are not too fresh, for most users, any of each technology alone is not enough to make you feel excitement. However, If we develop a new study or a new technology, which combine the biometrics and encryption. We can find that the technology combining these two techniques are very amazing.
Encryption: - Data encryption is the best way to reduce risks associated with misplaced, lost or stolen data.
At the first thought of steganography what is the first thing that pops into you mind? For me I would have to stay the court steganography. It is really the only way I heard steganography mention before, but after research I came to the realization that court steganography is just one part of the various types of steganography that there are. Steganography is the art of covered or hidden writing. The purpose of steganography is covert communication to hide a message from a third party (Gary). Going all the way back to the caveman error steganography exited. There form of usage were painting on the wall that they used to communicate with each other. Some were simpler than others to understand others are still being coded as I write on this
Data encryption refers to the process of transforming electronic information into a scrambled form that can only be read by someone who knows how to translate the code. In nowadays business world, it’s the easiest and most practical way to secure the information that we stored and processed, and it’s significant for our sensitive information. For example, as electronic commerce is popular now, the vendors and retailers must protect the customers’ personal information from hackers or competitors. They also have many business files or contracts that need to be strictly protected. Without data encryption, these important information may fall into wrong hands and be misused by others. Besides, data encryption may be used to secure sensitive information that exists on company networks, or create digital signatures, and help to authorize in business. No one should underestimate the importance of encryption. A little mistake in encryption may make sensitive information revealing, or even result in illegal and criminal accuse.
My knowledge has grown over the past six years, outwith the areas of learning offered by school courses, and I see this course as an opportunity to gain new skills and broaden my knowledge further. My main interests are varied, including communications and the internet, system analysis and design, software development, processors and low level machine studies. I have recently developed an interest in data encryption, hence my active participation in the RSA RC64 Secret-Key challenge, the latest international de-encryption contest from the RSA laboratories of America.
Codes have been around for centuries ranging from wax, invisible ink, Morse code, the Enigma used by the Germans during World War II and now steganographic. Steganography is the latest form to insidiously hide information over the Internet without a trace of a file being altered. You are able to hide messages within images, voice or music. Steganography is an ancient method of hiding messages. Today messages are hidden in images and music. Steganography can be traced back to the ancient Greek who would write messages on tablets and cover them in wax. This made the tablets look blank and unsuspicious (Kolata, F4). Citizens of ancient civilizations would tattoo messages on their shaved heads. They would then let their hair grown in and travel across enemy lines to deliver the message (Seper, G1). During World War II the Allies placed a ban on flower deliveries with dates, crossword puzzles and even report cards (Kolata, F4) for fear of a message being hidden with in. Steganographers first alter their data by using encryption and then place the image into a pre-select image. Steganographers look for a piece of code that would be the least significant and look the least altered to the human eye (Kolata, F4), being as inconspicuousness and random as possible. This makes the messages undetectable unless you knew that there is a message hidden and you were able to crack the code.
Possibly the future of online banking and digital finance, Blockchain is shrouded in mystery and skepticism. What is Blockchain? According to CIO Journal article of the same name as the question, it is a “data structure that makes it possible to create a digital ledger of transactions and share it among a distributed network of computers” (Norton, p. 2). Unlike legal tender, Blockchain is dissimilar and arguably superior because it innovates the process by allowing companies to create, verify, and monitor transactions on a network instantly without a governing source (Norton, p. 1). Essentially, Blockchain allows peer-to-peer networking safeguarded by security networks imbedded in the system.
Cyber Security as an International Security Threat National and International Security is a sum of the actions taken by countries and other organizations that can guarantee the safety and well being of their population. It is vital for a nation to pre-emptively discover what issues could affect their security, and take action to prevent any detrimental or harmful events from happening. With the development of technology and the transition into a more technologically savvy society, cyber security has become one of the most prevalent and important economic and national security issues that the United States will come to face. United States President Barack Obama has identified cyber security as a key issue the nation will face. President Obama declared that the “cyber threat is one of the most serious economic and national security challenges we face as a nation” and that “America's economic prosperity in the 21st century will depend on cyber security (“Foreign Policy Cyber Security,” 2013).”
Computer science is a vast field that includes nearly everything relating to computers. Everyday there is information transmitted all over the Internet. Pictures are uploaded, transactions are made on thousands of online retail websites, and banking transactions take place everyday on the Internet. All of these transactions have created a need for secure communications. People wish to keep things like banking, medical, and political information from the eyes of unwelcome parties. This has created a need for cryptography. Cryptography is the science or study of the techniques of secret writing, especially code and cipher systems, and is used by everyone from the average citizen to the government and military.
Steganography is basically made from two greek words steganos and grapter.steganos means covered and grapter means writing so steganography means “covered writing”.steganography is writing the secret message. The goal of steganography is to hide the text by installed messages in objects such as digital images, audio, video or text files. The other area of steganography is a copyright marking where the message is inserted to copyright over a document. steganography and watermarking portray routines to insert data straightforwardly into a bearer signal. Data stowing away in sound signs is increasing boundless significance for secure correspondence of data, for example, clandestine front line and managing an account exchanges by means of open sound
Data encryption refers to the transformation of data into a structure that makes it unreadable by anyone without a secret decryption key. It ensures that messages can be read only by the planned recipient. Encryption is the procedure of obscuring information to create it unreadable without special information. Only organizations and individuals with an abnormal need for secrecy have actually made good use of it. Nowadays, encryption is one of the most important technologies for maintaining your privacy and the security of important information. This helps out greatly especially when E-Commerce is being used.
For thousands of years cryptography and encryption have been used to secure communication. Military communication has been the leader of the use of cryptography and the advancements. From the start of the internet there has been a greater need for the use of cryptography. The computer had been invented in the late 1960s but there was not a widespread market for the use of computers really until the late 1980s, where the World Wide Web was invented in 1989. This new method of communication has called for a large need for information security. The internet allows people to communicate sensitive information, and if received into the wrong hands can cause many problems for that person.
Cyber security is the protection of networks, computers, programs and data from attack, damage or unauthorized access. This is important because a great number of our confidential information is on computers and transmit that data across networks to other computers. As of now cyber-attack is one of the transnational issues that we are concern about in the United States. If these private networks were hack our national security infrastructure will be in distress.
In this era when the Internet provides essential communication between tens of millions of people and is being increasingly used as a tool for security becomes a tremendously important issue to deal with, So it is important to deal with it. There are many aspects to security and many applications, ranging from secure commerce and payments to private communications and protecting passwords. One essential aspect for secure communications is that of cryptography. But it is important to note that while cryptography is necessary for secure communications, it is not by itself sufficient. Cryptography is the science of writing in secret code and is an ancient art; In the old age people use to send encoded message which can be understand by the receiver only who know the symbolic and relative meaning of that encoded message .The first documented use of cryptography in writing dates back to circa 1900 B.C. Egyptian scribe used non-standard hieroglyphs in an inscription. After writing was invented cryptography appeared spontaneously with applications ranging from diplomatic missives to war-time battle plans. It is no surprise, then, that new forms of cryptography came soon after the widespread development of computer communications. In telecommunications and data cryptography is necessary when communicating in any untrusted medium, which includes any network, particularly the Internet [1].Within the context of any application-to-application communication, there are some security requirements, including:
