Suddenly, I woke up. I realized that today was the day we were going to the trip to go to the humongous Cruise ship. I knew there was gonna be water rides there, sports. There were so,much fantastic food,Including Cotton Candy, and Pizza. It was a Sunny Morning, and I thought today was gonna be the best day ever!I was so, excited to go to the Cruise ship, and also, I was a little scared, because of how big it was,but my mom exclaimed. “It isn’t scary the driver knows what he’s doing just stay close to me I have some experience.” I was happy because our cousins from Atlanta are coming which is exciting, I was scared because I was thinking the Cruise Ship was gonna sink in the water, and if you fall in water you could drown.I also, didn’t know how to swim. I was a little bored on the trip because it took 2 days to get their. I thought I was gonna be really scared when I got onto the ship.It was in Florida the Cruise Ship. I shouted.”Mom,and Dad I'm really bored! I thought of doing some action like Jumping Jacks to keep my body in shape or Play a game with my brother to make time past I yelled!” When I started walking on the Cruise Ship It felt so, much I was gonna fall in the water and drown. It was so, important I suddenly, Started walking slowly being nervous every single …show more content…
There were some rides in the Cruise Ship, they were all water rides and awesome. There were big lines but, when I went It was amazing I went down a tube, then another then, after going through like 5 tubes we went down I got insanely wet,and when I came out the floor was so, hot without wearing my shoes,on the ride. When I went down the ride I felt like it was a free ticket to awesome-fun land. The tubes blasted me with so, much water I was soaking after I finished I needed a towel for my wetness to be gone. I whispered “Mom,and Dad That was so,
Before long I spotted my friends a few feet away and I walked in their direction. I found my 3 friends roaring with laughter, and I couldn’t help but laugh as well. A few hours later we were all piled in the car and Ashley’s parents drove home. We sat in a comfortable silence because everyone was exhausted from all the fun that we had. I smiled to myself in the dark, as I thought about what an amazing story my trip to six flags would make in the
The smell of the restaurants faded and the new, refreshing aroma of the sea salt in the air took over. The sun’s warmth on my skin and the constant breeze was a familiar feeling that I loved every single time we came to the beach. I remember the first time we came to the beach. I was only nine years old. The white sand amazed me because it looked like a wavy blanket of snow, but was misleading because it was scorching hot. The water shone green like an emerald, it was content. By this I mean that the waves were weak enough to stand through as they rushed over me. There was no sense of fear of being drug out to sea like a shipwrecked sailor. Knowing all this now I knew exactly how to approach the beach. Wear my sandals as long as I could and lay spread out my towel without hesitation. Then I’d jump in the water to coat myself in a moist protective layer before returning to my now slightly less hot towel. In the water it was a completely different world. While trying to avoid the occasional passing jellyfish, it was an experience of
As my family and I walked into the plane, we were excited. The plane ride to jamaica stopped in L.A. and, after that, it went to jamaica. When we arrived in Jamaica it was really hot, but it was wet. I immediately took off my sweater I was wearing on the plane. We took a bus to our hotel. Then we started swimming in the water park. Every night there was a show in the main stage. The next day we woke up early to go to chukka. It was awesome. We saw a great house, rode on horses, and did a challenge course. After we came back from Chukka, we went to the water park and swimming pool at the hotel. Then we ate at fresh, which we went most of the time. The next day we woke up earlier to go to the dolphin cove. The bus was an hour late, but the wait
I wasn’t even outside but I could feel the warm glow the sun was projecting all across the campsite. It seemed as if the first three days were gloomy and dreary, but when the sun on the fourth day arose, it washed away the heartache I had felt. I headed out of the trailer and went straight to the river. I walked to the edge, where my feet barely touched the icy water, and I felt a sense of tranquility emanate from the river. I felt as if the whole place had transformed and was back to being the place I loved the most. That day, when we went out on the boat, I went wakeboarding for the first time without my grandma. While I was up on the board and cutting through the wake of the boat, it didn’t feel like the boat was the one pulling and guiding me, it felt like the river was pushing and leading me. It was always nice to receive the reassurance from my grandma after wakeboarding, but this time I received it from my surroundings. The trees that were already three times the size of me, seemed to stand even taller as I glided past them on the river. The sun encouraged me with its brightness and warmth, and the River revitalized me with its powerful currents. The next three days passed by with ease, I no longer needed to reminisce of what my trips used to be like. Instead, I could be present in the moment, surrounded by the beautiful natural
The process of manufacturing a land sailor began with researching sailing, how a land sailor works and what allows for a land sailor to perform well. From the research it was found for a land sailor to maximize performance the land sailor has to be as lightweight as possible but not too light that when applied with wind the land sailor would topple over. In addition to the land sailor, the sail had to reach 45 degrees to the source of the wind where beyond that point the land sailor would not move. Also with the sail battens needed to be used to help keep the shape of the sail and to prevent the sail from flapping uncontrollably.
It was a warm rainy June night the humidity was high which made it even harder to breathe on the crammed boat. My family was asleep on the constantly rocking boat suddenly the boat shook, but my family was still fast asleep. I couldn’t seem to fall asleep so I got up and stepped out on the cold wet steel boats upper deck to get some air. When I got outside I realized that it was pouring bucket sized rain. I saw increasingly large waves crash furiously against the lower deck. Hard water droplets pelted my face, I could taste the salt water in my mouth from the spray of the ocean. Suddenly A massive wave slammed hard against the ship and almost swallowed the boat. Wind gusts started kicking up. I held onto the rail grasping it as if it were my prized possession. Suddenly I was blown

I got to my swim class and sat down. It was a very warm day, a day that I would remember for a long time. Well we all sat on the dock listing to them give instructions on what to do and stuff like that. But I was hot, so I took off my shirt, first mistake. The girls sitting across from me stared at me and were whispering to each other, but I had no idea what they were saying. So I did the class but as I got out of the water I was behind the two girls. They were laughing, the first one said
I had just got my camcorder for my birthday, so I filmed everything I saw. My family and I went up to the top as we watched the ship sail off. They pushed us off the dock and we said our bon voyages. The first day was a sailing day at sea. I was used to the thirty degree Tennessee and now we were in seventy degree weather. We lay out on the deck and I swam in the pool. Dinner was my favorite part. You can order whatever your heart desires and the dessert was splendid. Though the dessert cleansed my sweet craving I enjoyed the bread just a little more. The French bread on the cruise is the part I miss the most to this day. The first port day arrived and our adventure was touring the Mayan Ruins. I was an unhappy child, so I was not amused with the tour. It was extremely hot and we just looked at these pyramids. I was uninterested for sure. My favorite part of the tour was being able to swim in this hole. Apparently the hole did not have a bottom from what scientist have found. There were the little menos who sucked your feet. It felt weird, but the water was refreshing. Our last port day was in Cozumel. We planned to go zip lining and
I was smacked in the face by a gust of hot, humid Texas air as I found my way off the bus. The once brisk morning was getting hotter by the second. My friend Kristi and I looked towards our left and there she was, the Norwegian Sea. The cruise liner that we would be on for the next week. It was the biggest ship I had ever seen up close. Ten stories high and nearly 1000 feet long. It had an intimidating presence that took one's breath away.
The origins of the cruise industry can be traced to 1818 when Black Ball Line began shuttling its customers between America and Europe, taking note of the comfort of its passengers. (Boyd, n.d.) The introduction of air transportation as a more economic transport alternative forced ocean liners, which ferried people to destinations in comfort, to innovate into a new product for survival. (Boyd, n.d.)
Maritime transportation can also be referred like water-borne transportation; it is one of the apparent means of transportation similar like air, railway and pipeline. It is a transportation mode that has been evolved significantly in 18th century and effectively bridged the varied gaps by developing strategies to cope up ineffectiveness of land transport with the identification of industrial revolutionary trends. It depicts that main reason behind development of maritime transport is to ensure the easy movement of goods as well as people from water to land and vice versa. While walking by the shore I was amazed by the soft smooth sand beneath my feet, it seemed like all the worries I had throughout the year were finally erased. There was a rock facing the ocean that it thought was really cool, so I decided to settle there for a moment to appreciate the view, I closed my eyes for a second letting myself comforted by the sounds of the ocean, the sounds the waves were making against the rocks was impressive. Spending a few more minutes on the rock I decided to go back. Tying to help my parents for making breakfast, they sent me and my brother to get bread, and a few croissants at the bakery. My brother was driving while I was still wondering the landscape, I thought it was interesting how this island contained a mix between mountains, and beaches. At the table, conversations were spontaneous and positives, I forgot how fun breakfast could be when spending with family. That day we had has a plan to go to the beach, my mom could guess what me and my father had in mind. It was scuba diving and hunting with harpoons, but before we had to first buy the necessary equipment, and study the fishes we could hunt, since some were protected, and review the fishes that were edible. Finally done with preparation we headed to the beach, me and my dad waited that day for so long, being a big fan of hunting, I was quite impressed by the number of variety the Mediterranean Sea could provide, also what really shocked
I was able to spend a lot of time with my family, our friends, and play all sorts of games. This experience made me start to like traveling. Every time I would get the chance to travel, I will take that chance. We were able to go to a theme park, eat many delicious foods, and play many video
I was very excited to go swimming and meet other people to hang out with while I was outside. After, I went to my room to get a shower and put on some comfortable clothes I walked to the very front of the boat and the wind was blowing like 60 miles per hour. When I looked once again, I could see this little island with many lights on it and it was called the Bahamas. The Bahamas was very enormous and there were different shops to buy things at. When the boat finally arrived their everyone got off to go explore the island and buy thing, so I decided to look around and I bought different drinks to try. When I got to the edge there was very blue amazing glimmery water reflecting to me it was so cool to see kids playing and swimming in the water and on the
