Crown Resorts Limited (CWN) is an Australian company that operates gaming and entertainment business. CWN has its businesses and investments in the integrated resort and entertainment sectors in Australia and Macau and wholly-owns and operates a high-end casino (Aspinall’s Club) in the United Kingdom. • CWN completely owns and operates two of Australia's leading gaming and entertainment complexes. • The company has its gaming interests beyond Australia i.e. into Macau and North America. The business of Melco-Crown is targeting both the premium and mass Macau gaming market. • Crown reported Net Profit down to $491.0m for the year ended 31 December 2013 as compared to last year which was $513.3m. The result in comparison to the prior period is due to impact by a decrease in the VIP program play win rate. • The current period also suffered a mark-to-market loss on the company's investment in Echo Entertainment Group of $69.6m. This was partially offset by improved Australian casino operations results and continued growth in the company's Macau Joint venture. • Net operating cash flow was $496.2 million compared to $570.7 million last year. • Basic and Diluted EPS was 24.82 cents as compared to 36.56 cents in last year. • The final dividend declared was 19.0 cents, in line with 19.0 cents last year.
