Even though this is the first time of me going through this type of learning and thinking assessment, I do agree with all the three results. Each of them seems to depict my way of learning and thinking.

As a concrete Random thinker, I have the tendency of thinking through issues that arise in my personal and work life before actually tackling them. I rather analyze the issue, try to understand the cause and why it happened, before I look for ways to resolve it. I see myself as a risk taker, very critical of what I do, and also seeking for ways to improve myself.

An example of this was about two weeks ago when my director walked to my office to inform me about a request that he had received from another director. In a polite way, I had to explain to him that I needed it in writing in order to avoid mistakes.
Conclusion
Having known my primary learning entry point to be logical and the secondary being hands on, as a leader, I see myself not accepting things at face value but analyzing them in order to arrive at a reasonable or logical conclusion. As an employee, being a hands on person allows me to use my imagination to either invent, or manipulate things to enhance my overall output at work. Furthermore, as a concreate random thinker, this would help me take risks and also use my intuition to solve problems. As an employee, I would be able to compete with other employees in my organization. Lastly, as a visual person, I find this quality to be helpful personally as a manager given the tons of information one has to process. I am a rule follower and I do not take many risks. However, I do agree with the other points such as doing things in my own way, not doing things repeatedly, and seeing situations differently from others. I have phobia anxiety. Taking risks is extremely hard for me to do. I like to control the situation because of my fear of death. I have had a hard struggle with my anxiety since the age of thirteen. So in order to not have so much anxiety I tend to do things in a controlled way. This also makes me view things in different situations. Mostly because of being a control freak.
For me to be an effective leader, I must first evaluate my strengths. I took the Gallup 2.0 Strength Finder report which showed my strengths in an insight and action planning guide. The results indicated the top five themes for me were input, learner, responsibility, maximizer and arranger. I believe the evaluation offered an accurate assessment of my strengths. The input theme states my mind is like a sponge, soaking up information. As a lifelong learner, the second theme is also, correct. I have a quest for knowledge about things that interest me. I am responsible, in my job and life. As a maximizer, I focus on long term goals and strive toward excellence. As a nurse, working in an environment of change, the arranger strength in my personality allows me to adapt easily and figure out the best way to accomplish tasks (Strengths, 2012).
The trait I believe I reflect most is caring. I am always available when my friends, or even strangers, need help. I hope that I am a good person for someone to talk to as I am open-minded enough to never judge someone for their misfortunes or wrong doings. This brings me to the other trait I relate to most, which is open-minded. I believe that I am able to understand most people’s point of view in situations even if they seem to be in the wrong. Two other traits I relate to very much, however not as much as the aforementioned traits, are knowledgeable and risk-taker. I am knowledgeable not only in the sense that I am intelligent but also that I am on a journey of seeking higher knowledge and the secrets the world has to offer me. Knowledgeable can help me in my area of risk-taking by allowing me to not take risks that will produce a dangerous outcome. I am a risk-taker in my personal life more than my educational one because I find joy in new experiences and enjoy being adventurous and taking risks. The traits that I particularly relate to are balanced, a thinker, and reflective. I view myself as a thinker due to the immense amount of time I spend pondering the spiritual aspect of life. Although I would possibly describe myself as a thinker, I would have a harder time describing myself as reflective because I prefer to live in the now and not reflect back onto my sad past. Balanced is a trait that I see in myself but I also me failing at being balanced always. I tend to balance time between friends poorly, however not by intention. Also, I need to work on balancing my time spent on projects and assignments in school. The traits on the list I relate to the least are principled, inquirer, and communicator. Although I am principled, I find myself being more open to ideas and possibilities, that some people believe are wrong. I am not as stubborn as many principled people are, my opinion is
I found the results of my self-assessments to be a very insightful and accurate description of myself. The results of the learning styles test and the Keirsey Temperament Sorter II are very valuable for examining my personality traits and learning style and making improvements as needed.

According to Ennis (1962), he define thinking disposition is a tendency to do something given certain conditions. Thinking dispositions are tendencies toward particular patterns of intellectual behavior. Furthermore it is an effort to further identify the nature of these patterns of thinking, several scholars and educators have proposed more precise definitions.
Although my score was on the low side with a 31, my friends are quick to say that I would make a great manager/leader because of my ability to motivate others to work hard. I feel my analyzing skills are also highly regarded. Where Irun into problems would be my planning skills. While I know how to plan well my follow through is where I can fail partially because I am not the fastest person in the world. I also do not take initiative when needed due to my tendency to sometimes daydream and occasionally get sidetracked.
Knowledge is generated through critical and creative thinking. Creative thinking is something new or original that is created with value. Critical thinking is a type of thinking that questions assumptions and validates or invalidates a current belief or something that is said to be previously true. Knowledge is created through the culmination of generally accepted assumptions and creativity. How do you separate general assumptions and creativity? These two types of thinking can be easily separated in regards to concrete or realistic ideas compared to abstract or original ideas however to generate new, acceptable knowledge critical and creative thinking must interact together. The questioning of established beliefs with the creation of unorthodox new ideas will expose the most beneficial knowledge for the world.
Critical thinking is a significant and essential topic in recent education. The strategy of critical thinking skills helps identify areas in one's courses as the suitable place to highlight, expand and use some problems in exams that test students' critical thinking skills.
As I reflect on my past assessment process, I realized how much my assessments have changed over the years. In my early years, I used tests for informational recall as my assessments. I felt these were appropriate guidelines in which I needed to follow in order to substantiate a student’s grade. Every assignment or tests was given a point value and then based on the amount of points, a grade was given. Every student’s assessment was exactly the same, and the assessments did not contain any subjectivity. I felt confident in giving the grade based on a valid point system. However reflecting back, I see that I did not include any performance-based assessments or individual learning styles in my early assessment. I also did not take into consideration the individual needs of my students. My assessment approach was awful. I am embarrassed that I use to assess students in this manner.
