Introduction
Critical path method is one of the earliest and most popular tools used in project management. Ideated and roughly practiced in DuPont in the 1940’s it was later modified to the present form during the 1950s by Morgan R. Walker of DuPont and James E. Kelley, Jr. of Remington Rand, it helps project managers to handle complex and time-sensitive operations.

In order to fully grasp the concept of process philosophy we will first take a closer look at process philosophy, as a whole, its history, and the ideas behind this particular philosophy. Then we will discuss the effects process philosophy has had on marriage and family, followed by a brief commentary.
The Shewhart Cycle is a process by which a leader can gain and maintain control of essential aspects of a project as it progresses from conception through completion. Developed by Dr. Walter Shewhart, the process consists of four distinct steps. Though it has a beginning, the process continues to loop and repeat itself until the end of the project. There are four steps in the process. They are plan, do, check, and act. During planning, the leader determines the requirements for success as well as the obstacles which may be encountered along the way. All essential information is gathered and organized into tasks and timelines. The “Do” step is where action is taken on the tasks identified earlier. Special monitoring during this step will ensure that the tasks are understood, properly resourced, and accomplished. Through checking, the leader can ensure that performance is meeting standards and that adjustments can be made as appropriate. Act, or execute in accordance to the plan. If it is a good plan and carefully monitored, the project should go smoothly. (Clark, 2014).
This process is aimed at ensuring the project being pursued has a potential of delivering by adhering to the allocated time, sticking to the budget and very important, meeting customers specifications (Mott McDonald, 2002). It involves assessing the projects at critical stages (also referred to as gates) in its lifecycle and thus assuring it can advance to the next stage successfully. This analysis gives us the opportunity to use past experiences, and learn from them. Know of the mistakes and lessons of the past gives us the opportunity to better oneself, and shows us that living in the past will do us no good. Moving forward in life and understanding the mistakes of the past will only help your future, but if you refuse to move forward, and to be isolated in the past; it will only isolate and push you further from society more.
This integrative approach focuses mainly on four approaches: psychoanalytic, Adlerian, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and the postmodern approaches. The main focus is on CBT and how psychoanalytic, Adlerian and the postmodern approaches build on this integrative approach. In this integrative approach, the problem at hand is a client dealing with depression. I chose CBT as the main approach because the cognitive thought pattern is an important key for a client and CBT can branch out to other approaches, without interfering with the key concepts.

Project management is said to be completed within time when it completed within the “triple constraints”: cost, time and quality. And in a lot of causes, one them is sacrificed so as to meet the other two. Project managers prioritize which ones are the most important.
In his essay Critical Thinking: What Is It Good For? (In Fact, What Is It), Howard Gabennesch explains the importance of critical thinking by drawing attention to how its absence is responsible for societies many ills including, but not limited to, the calamity in Vietnam. Yet, at the end of his essay, Gabennesch also mentions that, despite “the societal benefits of critical thinking, at the individual level, uncritical thinking offers social and psychological rewards of its own.”(14). Similarly, it is these rewards that, like the bait on a fishhook, often make individuals hesitant to engage in critical thinking despite the resulting harm to both them and society.
When planning a new project, how the project will be managed is one of the most important factors. The importance of a managers will determine the success of the project. The success of the project will be determined by how well it is managed. Project management is referred to as the discipline that entails the processes of carefully planning, organizing, controlling, and motivating the organization resources so as to foster and facilitate the achievement of specific established and desired goals and meet the specific criteria of success required in the organization (Larson, 2014). Over the course of this paper I will be discussing and analyzing the importance of project management.
After an ideal solution is selected and approved its execution through implementation is done to address the problem. All tasks in the implementation should be coordinated with a finite start and implementation closure deadlines as well as milestones. Program evaluation and Review (PERT) as well as Critical Path Method(CPM) are ideal to guide this stage.
