Angela Griffin contacted Mobile Crisis Management (MCM) in regards to her son's recent uncontrollable behavior. She reported to MCM dispatcher her son is yelling, destroying stuff, breaking other children's belongings, and threatening to run away. Ms. Griffin's son name is William. He is a 11 year old white male. Dispatcher contacted MCM Qualified Professional (QP) to respond to crisis. Before arrival to residence, 164 Belle Ln. Siler City, NC 27344, QP contacted Cardinal Innovations (CI) to check for any current enhance services. At 4:22pm QP spoke with Lisa from CI who informed QP, William does not have any current enhance services. At 4:33pm QP spoke with Ms. Griffin and informed her of estimated arrival time, which was 5:29pm. At the
time of the assessment William was playing around the residence. QP walked up to the porch where Ms. Griffin and her partner was standing. Ms. Griffin asked QP to come in the residence to talk more about her son's behavior. Ms. Griffin reported recently working with Easter Seals to find a appropriate level 2 group home for William, which he over heard the conversation she was having with a case worker who found a potential placement. She expressed William's behavior started after hearing this conversation. Ms. Griffin reported today after hearing this conversation he started throwing toys, tried to take her daughter's puppy outside, and was hitting the front porch with a walking crutch. Ms. Griffin denies he destroyed any property at the home today, however has in the past. William engages in the assessment for a short period of time and continues to play while QP collect collateral information from the mother. William denies suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, and symptoms of psychosis. He is calm and currently is listening to his parents. Ms. Griffin reported William has been compliant with his medications. Ms. Griffin reported canceling an upcoming appointment on Friday with Kaitlyn, his Therapist, at DayMark Recovery Services at 1105 E. Cardinal St. Siler City, NC 27344, due to her son participating in the End of Grade Testing this week at Bonlee Elementary School. Ms. Griffin denies any recent complaints from his school about his behavior. Ms. Griffin reported she rescheduled William's appointment for 6/13/18 at 8:00am. Ms. Griffin reported William has a history of ODD. Disposition: QP consulted case with Courteney Schenck, LCSW. She recommended William follow up with his appointment 6/13/18 at 8:00am to meet with Kaitlyn, his therapist. QP provided a copy of crisis planning.
On September 18, 2015, I called Ms. Ashaunta Lanier and identified myself and the purpose of my call. Ms. Lanier informed me that she was about to call the police to report Tavon’s return. Ms. Lanier reported that her son had been in The District of Columbia where he was caught committing a robbery. Ms. Lanier reported that a search warrant had been executed and evidence which implicates her son had been recovered. Ms. Lanier authorized me to meet with Tavon at school.
At 2:44pm Arlethea from Cardinal innovations contacted Mobile Crisis Management (MCM) in regards to requesting services for Mr. Shane Edmonds. Arlethea reported Mr. Edmonds is requesting assistance with his opiate abuse. Dispatcher contacted Qualified Professional (QP) to respond to 4615 Siler City Snow Camp Rd. Siler City, NC 27344. QP spoke with Bill Cook from Carinal Innovations to schedule estimated time of arrival of 4:00pm, which QP arrived at 4:10pm due to traffic. QP contacted Cardinal innovations upon arrival and MCM dispatcher.
I believe that if you asked a group of people to list off issues regarding an emergency department then they would say long wait times throughout the process and being moved around to different areas of the emergency department. From what I have heard the long waits can be associated with waiting to get back to a room, waiting to see a nurse, waiting to see a doctor, waiting to go to radiology or lab, waiting on results, waiting to be discharged, or waiting to be admitted. All of these things in my opinion add up to one main problem, which is patient flow through an emergency department. In my opinion being able to have a controlled patient flow allows for improved wait times and decreased chaos for patients. So there are a few things
Gonzales was informed by the two officers that nothing was going to (couldn’t) be done as far as the “enforcement” of the temporary restraining order. The two officers further informed Mrs. Gonzales that she should wait until later that evening (ten o’clock) and if the children were not returned home by then to phone the Police Department at that time. A second phone call from Mrs. Gonzales was received by the Castle Rock Police Department at eight thirty that evening. Mrs. Gonzales had just communicated with Mr. Gonzales in which Mr. Gonzales had claimed to be at a nearby amusement park with the three girls. Mrs. Gonzales requested that Mr. Gonzales vehicle be found in the parking lot of the amusement park. She further requested from the Police Department that an ABP (all-points bulletin) be placed on her estranged husband. I called the phone number listed for Legend, and her mother, Kimberly Windham, answered. I asked Kimberly if she new anything about the incident, and she told she did not. Kimberly said she had received another call from a difference officer, possibly from the Port of Seattle, but she did not get a name or case number. Kimberly said she asked Legend why there was a CPS referral, and Legend told her "You don't know what you're talking about" and would not give her any information.

Nevertheless, this can be maintained under the national competency standard (NMBA, 2010). Part of the national competency standard promotes professional responsibility, multidisciplinary approach, critical thinking and client care delivery (NMBA, 2010).
The critical incident that I will be explaining about is regarding an eight-year-old girl currently a student at Victory Independent School District (VISD). This student wrote on her class journal that her uncle was touching her in her private parts when no one was watching. The teacher was so confused to what to do when he read Bianca’s journal, especially because he was wondering if it was appropriate for him to ask her questions about it. The teacher was concern that due to being a male that the student was going to feel uncomfortable if he were to ask her about what she had wrote in her journal. The teacher did know what to do and he was so confused because he was reading and grading the journals at home during the weekend. He continued reading Bianca’s journal and feeling more worried about his student's well being at home.
Ms. Coleman stated that on November 20, 2017, M'Kya called her cellular phone after school. M'Kya stated that she just got off from the school and her father wasn't there. Ms. Coleman stated that she told M'Kya to go to the bus station and took the bus home. He states that he was told to sit on a bench and that the boat will be picking him up to take him to hell. He stated he waiting 5 minutes so he took the boat to drive himself cause he got tried of waiting. The consumer denied delusion, auditory/visual hallucination, no suicidal/homicidal ideation, no poor impulse control, on insight into the need for treatment and no impaired judgment. The consumer present with flat affect, disorganized thought, aggressive behavior, impaired judgment, impulsive, aggressive behavior, lack of insight into the need for treatment and he is preoccupied with hell.
The aim of this assignment will be to provide an overview of the civil unrest which took place in the city of Los Angeles, California, USA from April 29 to May 2, 1992. In examining this incident I will endeavor to explain how and why it happened, who and what was affected and what the long term planning implications are for an event such as this. In order to do this I will present an overview of the four days of violence that gripped Los Angeles and investigate some of the root causes of the uprising. Finally, I will present my theories of how better or different prevention, preparedness, response and recovery could have minimized the effects of the incident.

Any risk manager would agree that programs are set into place to reduce exposure risks, and provide a safe working environment. My colleague and I received an emergency call at 03.40hrs to reports of a two-vehicle road traffic collision. Once on the scene it was confirmed as a high-speed collision. I was given a brief handover from the lead paramedic who was dealing with a patient that had sustained serious deceleration injuries due to the mechanisms involved. The paramedic stated,” the patient is mechanically trapped we have to wait for the fire service to cut him free”. Our priority at this stage was to prevent further deterioration of the patient and to promote his recovery by means of reassurance, pain relief in addition to treating the various injuries that he had sustained. I calculated the fire brigade would be with us very shortly, due to the fact the occupants of the other car involved were being extricated and loaded into awaiting ambulances by members of The Hazardous Area Response Team (HART). I decided that this would be an appropriate time to lead a discussion within the group on how the extraction would take place.
