Criminologists require significant education, criminologists determine and analyze criminal patterns base on biographical, social and psychological factors to aid law enforcement in assessing potential criminals. Criminologists are required to have a bachelor’s degree for employment, and some states require criminologists to pass a licensing exam. Criminologists play an important role in the criminal justice system.
They conduct research, teach and work with various law enforcement agencies. They study the social and psychological factors that cause people to commit crimes and research which approaches to rehabilitation work and don’t work. Want to be a criminologist that will teach or work in all of the areas. Others pick an area of emphasis and focus on studies in that area. I think some criminologists’ passion for work in this career field is social justice.
Description is, criminologists study a variety of factors to determine why criminals commit crimes. They perhaps consider psychological and social concerns, research data about certain crimes and arrests and study and study the background of the criminal to determine if any biological connections that led him or her to commit the crime. In the process of studying the criminal, it is possible that criminologist can discover the cost that may have influenced their crime.
Yet, with this information, criminologists can open a file for typical criminals, which can be used by other law enforcement agencies or personnel to evaluate future criminals. The data created by criminologists are used to assist law enforcement agencies to arrest criminals very efficiently and to better make judgements about their
