Panting, she woke up. She had the nightmare again and this time more

vivid than ever. It always began with her running frantically in fear

for her life with a man steadily coming after her. Also, it always

ended with the same dreadful scene, her choked to death and laying

morbidly on the floor and an unnatural angle. Her therapist told her

these dreams were brought about due becoming aware of here her

mortality due to the death of her boyfriend six months ago in a car

accident, and that it she could suffer and be the victim, but she knew

better. She knew these were visions, and she knew she would not let it

come true.

Daysha Denise Abraham was a crime scene investigator of four years.

She loved every fascinating aspect of her job and the rush she got

from solving a case. Her job was her passion, her life, and some

people, like her overbearing mother felt she took it too seriously.

It was quite simply her disgust with the mundane and the ordinary

that drove her to this career choice, and she loved every minute of

it. Her latest case was solving the murder of a housewife who was

murdered in her home. Abraham arrived on the crime scene that morning

with her usual cup of coffee. She was saddened by the fact that the

woman had five children under eighteen, and they would grow up without

the love of their biological mother. Moreover, it was in her old

neighborhood in West End, near her street corner.

“Good morning detective,” said a gloomy faced corporal, “her youngest

daughter found her swimming in a pool of her own blood. Things like

this sicken me” He walked off in a silent brooding manner, and Daysha

how her vision ended quite well, and didn’t plan on letting it come

true. As the hooded figure was almost upon her, she pulled out her 22m

and went to work. She give him two shots to each leg, two for putting

her through this ordeal, and two to let out all the pent up rage. She

was not secure enough to unmask him alone however, so she went to call

the police.

When they arrived on the scene, it was discovered that her stalker was

the murdered woman’s husband who had burst in as Abraham examined his

wife. Him seeing his wife in that state sent him off balance, and

caused him to believe that she killed his wife. He wanted revenge, but

he was going to take it out on the wrong person. Even though

completely traumatized, Daysha was happy the incident had happened.

Maybe now, she could finally get a good nights sleep.
