Some time ago there was an 18 year old girl named Angel, who possessed many talents that were not known to human beings. She had the talent to control everything with her brain as well as her physical being. But like any other gifted kid she was oblivious of her talents. Her mother ,Teresa, however knew all about her but had passed away when Angel was only three years of age. Angel had then moved in with her uncle and was destined to never know who she was until the day came when all was suddenly shown. October 11th 2012, in the city of Fremont, a teenage mother went into an impossible labor in which her baby was not able to survive. The baby girl was announced dead shortly after being delivered. Teresa, the sixteen year old mother had a hard time accepting it but eventually had to carry on with the funeral of her dead baby. At the funeral, as soon as the coffin went in the ground the most baffling thing happened right before everyone's eyes. A baby's moan was heard coming from the coffin. The baby had regained it's life. That was the day that Teresa realized that baby was something special. One afternoon as Angel walked home from school she was confused as to why there were two police cars and an ambulance racing passed her in such hurry. Angel had a bad feeling that something was not right. As she got closer to her house she saw a huge cloud of smoke surrounding the house in which she and her uncle lived. Angel was speechless and abashed to the point that she felt she would faint. Waiting for no time at all, Angel ran as fast as she could close enough to where she could see her uncle being carried into the ambulance. Uncle Joe was in critical condition where all there was to do was pray and wait. At the waiting room was Ang... ... middle of paper ... ...ng enough to overcome it all. Angel went on with serving her fellow team of the F.B.I bring more criminals to justice. She was helping them for two years then was moved for her safety to work undercover. Working undercover was tremendous since she felt more comfortable knowing her life was no longer going to be in any danger. After all, Angel felt honored for making the world a better place for humanity. Almost everything was good in her life except for one thing which was not knowing anything about her uncle. Uncle Joe wasn't hard to find because he still lived in the same place he used to. Angel was very excited to find her uncle alive and healthy. Angel quickly moved in with her uncle but never could figure out who the strange lady who spoke to her at the hospital was. They both however decided to take a trip far, far away and live their life to the fullest.

Everyday Angel: New Beginnings tells the story of Gabby Torres and her struggle in finding who she is.
The next morning, Maggie filed a police report about seeing the young boy in their house the previous night prior to her husband’s death. The police went to the Wilson’s house to investigate, but the boy was gone and there was no sign of any unusual activity. The three of them went back to their home where they mourned the loss of their dad and husband. The next night went smooth, they all stayed in the guest bedroom, avoiding the room where they had seen the young boy, and the room where Joe died. Two days later, at Joe’s funeral, Reagan spotted a young boy that looked like the boy she saw floating into her room that dreadful night. Reagan rushed over to her mom and Chandler to tell them what she saw. The night of the funeral, thunderstorms moved in and a big gust of wind blew a tree limb down onto the power lines adjacent to their house. This caused a power outage in the middle of the night followed by a loud lightning strike, which woke Maggie up. Suddenly an image appeared to be floating toward her. The shadow immediately made her think of the young boy they saw the other day. Before Maggie could call the police, the young boy strangled her to death. Her screams woke Reagan and Chandler up. They hid under the covers crying and hoping the young demon boy would go away. However,
She woke up with a severe pain in her side and began to have difficulty walking. Any kind of ailment was unusual for her as she had always been a healthy person. This particular Friday morning took her and everyone around her by surprise. Her daughter immediately took her to the hospital where they immediately began to run tests. Several hours later the grimed faced doctors said, Mrs. Flores you have cancer all over your body and it would be best to call all your family together. Forty-seven year old Billie, the pillar of her family, was going to die. Within hours Billie and her eldest daughter were on a private medical plane being flown to Houston to receive emergency treatment. Billie had no other words to say other than “God you are in control of my life”. After several hours of flight, mother and daughter landed in Houston where an overwhelming sense of peace embraced on them. Surgery was scheduled for Monday but after the x-rays came back doctors immediately took her into surgery. There they found several tumors, one that caused significant damage. This particular tumor had eaten part of her vertebrae and compressed her spinal cord, leaving her paralyzed. After surgery Billie began to ask God if it was her time to leave. His response to her was, her work was not done. That is all Billie needed to hear, it was time to fight. Billie and her daughter prayed day in and day out. Two
Angelia, is a warm and caring person who remains a professional. She has excellent written and verbal skills and is able to work independently to complete assigned projects. I believe she will be a wonderful contribution to the world of medical writing.
The Creature That Opened My Eyes Sympathy, anger, hate, and empathy, these are just a few of the emotions that came over me while getting to know and trying to understand the creature created by victor frankenstein in Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. For the first time I became completely enthralled in a novel and learned to appreciate literature not only for the great stories they tell but also for the affect it could have on someones life as cliché as that might sound, if that weren’t enough it also gave me a greater appreciation and understanding of the idiom “never judge a book by its cover.” As a pimply faced, insecure, loner, and at most times self absorbed sophomore in high school I was never one to put anytime or focus when it came time
Angel, the villain of the film, shows obsession to the blinded women. He stays near Julia by being her assistance since she has a problem with her eyes. Julia depended on him, went where he told her to go, and did what he told her to do. In fact, Julia was being controlled by Angel. In my perspective, Angel just loves the fact that he can control and have power upon women. Since Julia was blinded, it was easy for him to take control of her and she had no choice but to follow him. Angel’s first attempt was Sara. Angel injects chemicals that would hinder the improvement of the sight of Sara to make her become his “slave”. He succeeds on making Sara’s eye condition bad but he fails to make her follow him forever and therefore kills Sara. This shows that Angel would rather kill the woman if he cannot have power and control over the girl. Similar character as Angel is shown to Isaac, the husband of Julia. Yes, he may love Julia more than Angel but same traits were shown in treating her. Isaac does not believe Julia that the investigations were wrong. He demands her to believe his thoughts and decisions, and forces her to stop the investigation. He did these actions for Julia but he cannot get out of the fact that he also forced her to be controlled by him. Finally, Blasco, the neighbor, he was about to hurt Julia when she refuses to be raped by him. Blasco again shows
“...What?” Asami asked, believing that she must have misheard Korra. Asami blinked and kept her hands on the Avatar 's shoulders.
Two souls, one mortal and one celestial, must struggle with their willingness and their need to sacrifice everything familiar for the sake of love. Seth is the guardian angel who watches over Dr. Maggie Rice. After learning that it is possible for an angel to become mortal if his love for a woman is deep enough, he realizes the strength of his love for Maggie and agrees to fall from heaven to be with her. Until I watched City of Angels, the thought of invisible beings guiding and protecting me was not a major interest of mine. At the age of eight, my uncle, whom I was very close to, passed away, and his death was tragic.
As the sun slowly settled, darkness began to overcome the Earth. Sickness—had come. The sickness slowly but readily crept into each home. It was the Midnight Theft. The destructive plague stole during midnight—it stole lives. Deep in the heart of Tukenasville, people were dying, and the whole country was beginning to perish. The flowers withered as they bloomed. The mountain peaks crumbled under steer weight. Animals fled to holes to live out the final moments of their life. People were distraught, and chaos was invading every planet in the macrocosm. People called me Nikolaou Gonfalon. I was the last of the Warriors of Phos. Long ago, the Sisters of Moiré ordained my doomed fate. I tried to bargain with them to change it, but in the end, I captured them and locked them up in a repository on a cliff. I was to lead the expedition to find the cure for the Midnight Theft. That, however, was not the reason why I would go on this journey. My best friend, Tolem, was dying of a rare illness called Takigifeay. It was causing the slow built up of lactic acid on his bones. I knew that death would come to him soon. Legend spoke about a necklace that can bring life to anyone or thing. It was said to have been belonged to an Oceanian, one of the water people. The Lost Jade Necklace of Serenity was what it was called, and it could bring healing to the Earth. Nonetheless, it could be the obliteration of mankind, also. I began to pack since my journey was to start at that moment.
The dark, black sky was covered with a million bright shining stars. The moon shimmered above a small town in the suburbs of London. The gentle wind swept past the bare trees and danced with the leaves below it, creating a colourful array of orange, yellow, red and brown. Across the street, a light was on in a small house where a tall, dark haired woman stood, talking to her two children Nicola and Erin. While she was tucking them in Erin asked, “Mummy, will you tell us a story please?” “I’m sorry but its time to go to sleep now,” she said. “Please mummy,” begged Nicola “Okay but only one story,” she replied “This story is about how I got lost when I was a young girl and how I met an incredible man. It all began when…”
I remembered one night getting on my knees and asking God to send me a child that will love me unconditionally and that I will love it and that know one could ever take the love that we both shared away. I also, remembered telling God that I would love this child forever, you know God granted me my wish it was on a Thursday evening on August 16, 1979 at 4:20 P.M. that my little angel was born she was a sweet little angel. She was very special my family, she was the first granddaughter, great-granddaughter and the first niece and her father’s first of his two children to witness coming to this world. I remember when she was just a week old I laid her down on her stomach in my bed, she tried to crawl. La Shundra, was very happy and loved baby, she was so special she touch the hearts of everyone that came to know her even when, she was at her worst until the day she died.
Early in the year of 1994, on the ninth day of August, Kristina silently slept in her cradle. Born blue and without a breath, a 0.1 percent chance of life was guaranteed. A brain surgery, prescribed by a doctor, was scheduled without parental consent. In order to abscond the venal doctors and nurses, Kristina was stolen, by her own mother, from the neonatal intensive care unit. An ambulance, sent to retrieve a baby “in danger,” later arrived to collect Kristina.
“No Angel” is told in first person narrative in a limited point of view. We see the action through our main characters eyes, which gives the reader an inside in the protagonist’s thoughts. The short story is written with classic narration, which means the narrator can survey the events and the time in which they take place. The narrative can jump in time, survey several years in one sentence or anticipate later events – all of which is used in “No Angel”. The composition is jumping trough time with flashbacks and flash-forwards. Some of the telling is streams of thoughts, some are memories and others are the timeline. The streams of thoughts are interrupting the timeline constantly so it becomes un-chronological.
There was an impending doom coming to the small town of Calamity. Unbeknownst to the citizens it would come firstly upon a church on the outskirts of a town. A few people were inside as the doom came closer. Preacher Tom was the first one in the church to sees what would haunt the town and was scared out of his wits. He pushes a young woman out of the doorway as he speeds into the church. He continues to bar the door and close up all of the windows as the surprised group stares on at him with suspicion. He dropped to his knees and prayed as a loud noise echoed through the building. The crowd began to scream as the windows rattled and the building swayed. All of a sudden, a whimper could be heard from the back side of the building. The sound was unmistakable, it was the tiny voice of little Lisa Cunningham. Mrs. Hamm hobbled quickly over to the door before anyone else could react. She threw the door open as Father Ted finally came to his senses. Lisa flung herself through the door into the arms of Mrs. Hamm. Father Ted lunged for the door and slammed his shoulder into it right before an unknown force bashed against the other side. Mrs. Hamm grasped the child as and attempted to console her as a sharp pain erupted in her breast. She looked down and saw a dark stain growing on her blue dress and jerked the child away. Everyone’s eyes went wide as they saw the scene unfolding before them. Lisa stood smiling; face covered in blood, and began to laugh hysterically. Mrs. Hamm was becoming hysterical as well, as she noticed that one side of her chest had become smaller than the other as a huge chunk had been bitten away by the child.
