Hughes ran along the hot sandy beach of Oahu, Hawaii. Oahu was a secret military that the enemies had found. It held missiles and experimental weaponry. The enemies had found it and captured it, he was there to take it back. He was just let out of a reinforcement helicopter onto the beach and it was already dangerous. He was trying to reach the front line to push the opposition back, but it was all for nothing he was stuck in the back. Hughes was thinking about how he could move up get to the front. As he figured out how to get to the base, he saw a large tank come up a dune with two smaller tanks trailing behind it. He knew this would be a hard battle considering they were now out gunned by the three massive tanks and two-thousand soldiers.

“Hey Izel turn right right here so we can go to Mauna Kea,” I said
Located in the popular Yosemite National Park, Yosemite Falls is the tallest waterfall in California. Every year, mother nature’s breathtaking beauty attracts millions of people from around the world. People hike for three long and fatiguing hours in anticipation of witnessing forceful water rushing down the steep mountain from 2,425 feet above. Last summer, my family and I backpacked through the Yosemite Falls Trail and I came to learn what a truly exhausting experience it is.
The trees are big, leaves flowing in the wind, soft sand on your feet and the best of all the shining blue water of Maui,Hawaii full of underwater plants and mysterious creatures. Although, Hawaii can be scary deep down, deep in the wild that is unknown and undiscovered.
The Sonoran Desert is a magical place. In the sweltering heat of southwest Arizona, cacti cast ghostly shadows over sun-scorched dunes transforming the barren wasteland into a fantastical Dreamscape. Here, at the age of eight, I imagined myself overcoming insurmountable odds to vanquish phantom armies of alien invaders. Perhaps it was the immense desolation or simply the innocence of a child, but my make-believe conquests inspired within me the courage to dare dream dreams others deemed unattainable. History laments of Alexander weeping when he realized there were no more worlds to conquer. Retrospectively, one could argue that the “great one” simply lacked vision. Had he the foresight to conceptualize
I jumped and looked around for the source of the eery sound. That’s when I saw It. The door. I hadn’t seen It before. The door wasn’t there last night. Cautiously, I turned the handle.
We’ve let out more sweat than we ever have before. Off in the distance we see trees, and where there's trees there's water. Every step felt like we lost a part of our body. When we finally make it to the trees we saw three trailers and a small, covered porch. We approach it not knowing what or who could be in there. We find stale oatmeal, cans of beans, beer and jerky so old it's turned white. We may be able to stay alive for two weeks with this. Everything out here is horrible, I don’t know how anything could live like this but it’s not normal, no animal or human being should have to live in this kind of heat.
This summer I traveled to Orange Beach. And why I went because I was going to play in the world series. And I almost got to go skiing. And my mom, dad, mawmaw, and two of my cousins and my brother. And we got to the qualifying round and we came in 3rd place. It happend on June26 - 31. And we saw dolphins. And I saw a shark. And me and my brother caught some fish. And I stayed in a condo. And I didn't see any jellyfish. But I caught some sandfleas. And some crabs. And I saw some boats. And I saw people parasaling. And I eat some good good. But I saw some people patrolling the roads. And I saw some chopped food. And when I saw the shark I started
“Just hold on babe we will be their in a moment. Now turn around so I can put this blind fold on you,”he said stubernly.
Theta poked his head into the firing range. Jack was near a table, loading all sorts of guns. His stomach practically churned at the sight, but he fought against it and walked in. He leant against the wall, arms folded. He was practically telling his mind to go ahead and do this--but his body was disagreeing time and times over. ‘’Alright,’’ the captain said, turning to him. ‘’We’re gonna need eye protection and ear defenders.’’ With that, he handed a pair of headphones to Theta -- blue with the Torchwood logo donned on the sides. He took them and put them on -- and did the same with the yellow-colored glasses. Jack did the same, and picked up yet another automatic. ‘’It’s all yours,’’ he handed it over.
In the deepest part of the forest, there lives a girl. She was only 12 years old, hair color of a pale corn, and eyes of a dark shade of hazel. Her skin color is a light tan, with a few scratches and patches of dirt. The dress she wore is a simple white dress with some pink lace around the hem of the dress. It was covered with stains from the forest. The child didn’t have any shoes or anything covered her feet. That didn’t bother her. She always watches where she stepped, and she likes the feeling of dirt or water under her feet.
Out of all the places to be born, why did it have to be this horrible place? It's so boring here! All I ever do is royal lessons on how to drink tea properly or how to walk like the "soon to be King" I am. Tch, who ever said I wanted to be King of this wreched kingdom? I, as the Westington people, know completely what I am capable of and but of course, what is a King who's subjects aren't loyal or supportive in any manor?
“Why are you obsessing over it so much?! He’s dead to us and to this city! Going beyond the city limits is certain death. God knows what’s out there, just waiting to kill you.”
“If only it was as simple as planned,” thought Thomas. Reminiscing on past conversations he recalled the specific words, “Let’s keep this simple, shall we? I don’t the slightest bit of suspicion towards me. When we walk in I will give you the supplies, all you need to do is finish the deal.” After that said, the tall man wearing a trench coat walked away leaving a trail of questions to be answered, but none were asked.
Grey clouds race across the overcast sky, holding in buckets of water and a loud “boom!” Cold water around me makes its way up to form waves for a violent crash, making the small wooden boat underneath my feet elevate, nearly pushing me off into the mysterious sea.
