They hadn’t had any decent crops all season. The soil on their land, was no longer providing the village with any food worth the labor time spent on keeping the crops alive. King Morpheus and his son, Demetrios knew something had to be done, or the village would starve. After weeks of developing a plan, he gathered an army to take back the land their village had last so long ago. He was anxiously awaiting the throne, going over each word he planned to say during the ceremony that had seemed so far away. There were only moments left before the ceremony was to start when the sounds of what seemed to be a stampede erupted the the walls of the castle. He knew this was wrong. Demetrius had drastically different morals than his father. He felt that seizing these people’s home and tearing it from their grasp was cruel, but he couldn’t stand up and say something, nobody could. She ran out the castle doors, looking for her family. She knew she should run in order to save her life but she was captivated by the way he looked at her.
