“Nuclear bomb-- Sector E4Y N9H, --- Extraction --- Sector E4Y N0G --” That was all Warren heard before the transmission was cut, and the old radio died. He looked around in shock before rolling out of his makeshift bed, he sighed when he noticed the small figure sleeping in a tree above him. “Audrey, get up, We might finally escape this hell-hole!” Warren yelled, forgetting to keep his voice down out of pure excitement. Audrey fell out of the tree she was sleeping in, she was supposed to be on guard duty. “Huh, what?!” She squealed, rolling to her feet. “He was probably going to have finished you off if I didn’t show up. Just be glad you’re still alive.” Warren surveyed the corridor, looking for anything of use. “Why did you save me? I’m better off dead now that I have nobody to protect me…” She was clearly begging for Warren’s help, even giving him puppy-dog eyes. “Find a weapon and follow me,” Warren suggests, picking up a large antique golf-club off the ground. I can’t believe someone still has one of these, he thinks. “For your information, my name is Audrey, not little girl.” She said, walking over to her father’s corpse, fumbling around with something in his bag. A few minutes later Audrey stands back up, holding a rusty old Colt Python over her head proudly. “What’s that you’ve found?” Warren questioned. “I think it’s called a gun, it shoots things.” Audrey replied, beaming warmly at Warren. “We should get out of here, we’re bound to find more of those things eventually.” Warren hefted the golf-club over his shoulder, and walking towards the hotel doors. Present time, June 30th, 2125, 1700 hours. Warren crouched behind a line of debris, listening for the sounds of approaching footsteps.

There was a heavy rain outside, but other than that, the room was silent. George stared at the bunk where Lennie slept, unable to sleep. He was filled with hatred of the world that forced him to kill his own friend. As the night dragged on his hatred shifted to Curley’s wife, then Curley. “If Curley hadn’t let his tramp wife go around and cause trouble Lennie would still be here” George thought. Just then, Lennie appeared in front of him with a look of deep sadness and pain. Seeing Lennie’s pain and suffering, sent him over the edge. “That god damn Curley!” George thought, grabbing Carlson’s gun while he slept. “This is all his fault!” he thought, consumed by rage. He shuffled over to where Curley slept and pulled out the gun. George aimed the gun at Curley and pulled the trigger. An instant later he is horrified by what he has done. A couple seconds pass and Slim comes into the
In the beginning of the story where Audrey talks about "A gunshot" (Oates), I feel like she is just retelling the story and has indeed already shot her father, because remember when she says " I am one of the faces" (Oates), when the cameras shifted at the crowd what if she was talking about actually seeing her face on TV? Also, when she says talks about this mysterious woman in his campaign; I have a feeling she is talking about her being those mysterious women.
His opposer stands triumphantly as he thought to have succeeded in his mission. “How ill mannered is he?” the sniper murmured to himself with a devious smile. Standing tall in all black; blazer, bow tie, socks, Balmoral shoes, with the button up also to be corresponding. He appears seemingly endless like a black shadowed character made up to startle young children. The opposing sniper moves as if he is the actual Slender Man. As he stands as a vacuous man, I conjure my scheme to vanish him.

THE PAST :.. In days gone by, the four species managed to live in perfect harmony. Witches, werewolves and vampires lived in secret, blending in with the humans on a daily basis - and the humans remained completely in the dark about their existence. It was after thousands of years of living this way, whilst everything was completely normal, that a small group of vampires decided that they’d had enough. They spent months devising plans.
In the late 20s, life was good down here in the south. The grass was long, tall, and healthy, the wind would graze over the grass like a nice comb over haircut. The crops were plentiful and could be seen for miles. Life was good, we had everything we had ever needed down here on the farm. In the summer, we would have hay bale making contests on our farm. We had a farm of about 27 acres, we grew primarily soybeans and wheat. However, life would change for the worst come the 30s.

Just a night. An ordinary night, around fifteen to eleven o’clock. I lay there playing with my xacto knife kit. It belonged to my Grandfather’s aunt. So I guess that’s my great great aunt. Well anyways I finally set aside my kit and started to try and sleep. I’m at my grandparents house in the Fairfax District of Los Angeles. The house? Why it’s a classic Spanish themed home built precisely in 1929. At the end of a Golden Era: The Roaring Twenties. So as I turn to closed eyes I see a boy. A young Hasidic Jewish boy. He looks around the age of eight or nine and asks me in a seemingly cute creepily voice Have you seen my family? I asked what family. The family that seems to be missing. I asked are you from around here? He says, yes I grew up here in the brown roofed house.

After all that Alice and her mom and brother when back home and everything when back to
While they were getting the flashlight Kelly heard a low grumbling sounds that kept getting louder and louder. She saw an armored car driving in their direction and yelled at Ray “Get in the car and lay down!” The car passed and Kelly and Ray were shaking at the thought of the car stopping and whoever was inside seeing them. To their luck the people in the car didn’t see them.

“Wait I am not done…” Victoria interjected quickly, “I found the gun behind the painting in Mr. Cordon's bedroom but, I was not hung up correctly and the bullets were just laying on top of the gun instead on in the drawer where they are supposed to be. This means that whoever used the gun did not know exactly how to put it away. As I explained before I had found the pair of shoes belonging to Mr. Cordon but, I did not find them with Mr. Cordon’s shoes I found them with Mrs. Cordons… Mrs. Cordon is the one who did the crime.”
It was a dark, cold, cloudy day. The clouds covered the sky like a big black sheet, nothing to be seen except darkness that seemed to go on forever. This was the third day in a row that there had been complete darkness, there was no getting rid of it. This was because of ‘the meteorite.’
I knew I had messed up. I had never seen Tamaki so angry with me, and it was because I was so blinded by resentment to see what was really going on. He was in the wrong, too, though. He shouldn’t have gone behind my back. I refused to apologize until he realized he was just as wrong as me.
