“Out into the water?” Gemma said, her eyes widening.
“Well, yeah, I mean it’s got an oar and everything.”
“But what if it sinks?”
"True, but there’s only one way to find out.” And I pushed the boat out into the lake and kept a hand on one end so it wouldn't drift away.
“It looks like it's floating fine, and seems pretty solid,” I said, experimenting, pressing a hand inside and pushing down with all my weight. “It's not sinking.”
Gemma peered out into the crystal, sapphire water.
“But we don’t know what’s out there,” she whispered.
“What do you think is the worst that can happen?” I asked, curiously.
Gemma gave a reluctant shrug and exhaled, “I don’t know, getting trapped or lost. Something coming out of the water?”
“You mean like a monster?”

I had to admit I had some reservations of my own, but logically, we did seem pretty limited in options. We couldn’t go back to the door. It was shut now. And our only choice was to move forward.
Bending down, I scooped up a decently sized rock from the water’s edge and chucked it as far out as I could. The rock landed with a sharp sploosh.
“Nothing,” I shrugged, after a moment of time had passed.
Gemma studied the sign, “I just wish we knew what it said.”
Pulling out my phone, I glanced at the screen, but there was no service or internet connection, no way he could translate it. After returning the phone back to my pocket, I grabbed hold of the boat and placed a foot inside.
“You’re getting in?” Gemma said astounded.
“Yeah, I’ll check it out first and see if it’s safe,” I said, reaching for the oar. “Wait here. I’ll paddle out for a bit, then return to shore.”
“But I don’t think it’s wise to separate,” she gently reminded. “If you’re getting in, I think I should come as well.”
“Alright,” I said, my voice echoing throughout the cavern.
Delicately and gracefully, Gemma slipped into the boat and carefully, I gripped the oar to push off from shore. When suddenly, the water began pulling us away from the pebble

" I really wonder what happened."
“Sinking or not, we have to get on one of these boats. It looks like they’re letting first-class on first, so we’re in luck.” I said to Joe. On the deck below us, I could see masses of people that looked like herds of sheep being rushed in one direction. I noticed myself a little more seasick than I was before, and that the deck seemed slanted. It was obvious the ship was sinking now. A guard nearby was calling for first-class passengers so we went there and climbed aboard.
"What idiotic gibberish is this now?" Arthur caught his breath. "We never discovered how the creature got loose," he challenged.
I tugged and the bucket slowly but surely made its way up the side of the boat. I sat it down softly not wanting to distract the men. I dunked my crimson hands in to the old sea water, instantly the water was red. Captain Bligh spoke without even turning his head.
“Yep,” I said, not very confidently. I watched as the boat skidded over the water and suddenly came to a stop. I sat in the boat as the waves rocked it up and down. I thought, better get this done quick.
The Creature That Opened My Eyes Sympathy, anger, hate, and empathy, these are just a few of the emotions that came over me while getting to know and trying to understand the creature created by victor frankenstein in Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. For the first time I became completely enthralled in a novel and learned to appreciate literature not only for the great stories they tell but also for the affect it could have on someones life as cliché as that might sound, if that weren’t enough it also gave me a greater appreciation and understanding of the idiom “never judge a book by its cover.” As a pimply faced, insecure, loner, and at most times self absorbed sophomore in high school I was never one to put anytime or focus when it came time
Right when he said that, I felt like a real mother. Then, I made a horrible realization. My prized possession; the picture of my mother and father, was in our room. I could not leave that behind. If I was going to die, I wanted to do it with them in my hand. Before I went back, I made sure that my brothers were safe. I put them on a lifeboat, hugged them, and said goodbye. I quietly prayed that this moment would not be the last time I saw them. Quickly, I ran as fast as I could back to the room.

“I don’t know but we all got washed up from that storm last night but look we have the map so our adventure starts to find the city of gold” I said.
...e became more and more overcome with suspense and anticipation. Before we plunged to the bottom, we noticed a kayak broken in two pieces. It had been caused by a collision with a boulder, at the bottom of the fall. We were scared to death, because we thought we would hit it and flip over. However, with the help of our fast-thinking and skillful guide, we were able to make it down the fall safely. All the action was over, so we let out a sigh of relief and allowed our nerves to relax.
A world without control becomes chaos. For many centuries, mankind lived without direction, but with it being small nations and groups, order was kept. In the world we live in today of billions of humans, order must be set in place to obtain structure. A set of rules and regulations to ensure safety and security amongst each other. This structure of is called a government.
"Hey let me show you around," he said and stopped in front of one of the gremlins. "This here is our third mate Barney Blender he's in charge of the kitchen so if you need anything, just ask him." I nodded at Barney. Emma stopped and pointed to a towering rock that was jutting out of the
Out to the arms of the lake, we stared and admired in every manner to cherish and remember it like a picture that never change. I held her hand and began walking towards the dock, which extended shortly into the water face. The dock was of metal, not sleek but shinny, not clean but unnoticed as we looked into...
One of the most unique creatures are fish. As I am sitting here in my room, my fish are swimming about with not a care in the world. I wonder what it would feel like to be a fish.
