"I'm serious, like all the hot guys are supposed to be there this weekend, especially since all the women are going to be at Conner's Mating Ceremony." She spoke quickly as we walked to our American Lit class. Tori did not have to attend the Mating Ceremony since she found her mate and I just didn't see the point of going. If my mom had mated with our Alpha than I would be Conner's sister. Surely, even Fate wasn’t that messed up? I gave her an odd look when I thought about her mate issues. "What about Justin?" Tori pursed her lips again, a look of irritation crossing her face as we entered the classroom. "We haven’t spoken to each other since last week. He just won't listen to reason! Why would I give up my Beta position? That's the one thing I've been looking forward to since I was a little girl, there is no way I'm giving that up for some jerk." …show more content…
Her usual cheerful demeanor gone, making me wish I could just punch Justin one good time in the face. Man, this boy was making me violent. "Bad thing is, Justin's parents want to come over and talk to my parents over dinner Sunday." Tori did not look thrilled about that, then a look crossed her face, like a light bulb had went off in her head. "How about you come to dinner Sunday and keep me company? Please?" She gave me the classic puppy dog pout, her gray eyes wide and teary. I sighed. "Fine, but if I have any homework this weekend, you are helping me with
The Creature That Opened My Eyes Sympathy, anger, hate, and empathy, these are just a few of the emotions that came over me while getting to know and trying to understand the creature created by victor frankenstein in Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. For the first time I became completely enthralled in a novel and learned to appreciate literature not only for the great stories they tell but also for the affect it could have on someones life as cliché as that might sound, if that weren’t enough it also gave me a greater appreciation and understanding of the idiom “never judge a book by its cover.” As a pimply faced, insecure, loner, and at most times self absorbed sophomore in high school I was never one to put anytime or focus when it came time
In a much better mood then she had been in when they left their parents house, Valerie sat quietly in the passenger’s seat and enjoyed the rest of the drive to her girlfriend’s house. When they arrived at their destination Valerie undid her seat belt and gave her brother a kiss on the cheek, “thanks for driving,” she explained as she got out of the car and started toward the front door of Trinity’s house.
“Where can we go?” Jonus yelled to the Shaman, hoping it would take the lead like it always did.

Connor: He acts just like my mother. People gravitate to him because of his great personality. My mother is also a cautious person.
“Teresa, this doesn’t have anything to do with you, when did anyone invite you?” He replied a smug grin on his face. “It became my business, when you decided to be completely and utterly despicable to the new girl.” Teresa stood her ground, her face resembling the color of a tomato. She grabbed Skylar by the arm gently, “c’mon, let’s get out of here,” she muttered.
“They didn’t call me. Knowing I was alone and scared,” Justin said, now he was angry with Mark and Chuck.
The wind's only whistling quietly but it's enough to take him by surprise when the door opens and the silence is broken by it. A figure, face masked by a black helmet, stands in the doorway, letting the sand begin to slowly push its way in, before taking two steps forward, heavy boots thudding on the floor, and letting the door swing closed behind them. Their leather jacket lifts slightly as they reach for the helmet, revealing a sliver of a torn blue shirt beneath it. The removal of the helmet allows a cascade of dark hair to fall out and piercing brown eyes to be seen.
Into The Lush Forest The sun had just kissed the hill, giving warm color to the sky, but I was feeling cold. The excitement in my heart was slowly losing its fire. We were lost and I felt alone, lost in the crowd of trees. A cold crowd perhaps. As the three of us walked slowly through the dense forest, our steps made loud noises - crushing the fallen leaves, and the broken twigs.
The most frightening sixteenth birthday. Halloween finally arrived and it was Robbin's sixteenth birthday. Her parents eventually decided that she was mature to bring her friends Charlie and Hallie for a sleepover; however, both of these girls bullied her constantly and were not frightened of anything. “Ding Dong” the doorbell rang loudly. Robbin froze as the bell constantly kept echoing in her head while her heart rapidly pumped .

A shadowy figure strode through the streets, their figure concealed by a billowing black cape that splayed out behind them. People moved out of the way, unsure of who the figure was and what their purpose in the small town could have been. No strangers visited... Or at least, not for a long time. The figure turned down an alleyway purposefully, the flow of the cape revealing a sword strapped to their waist.
If you don’t mind…” “Not at all. I can’t believe the teacher volunteered us AND we lose credit if we don’t go. I mean, some of us have things to do after class.” “Well it’s not until tonight,” Ava said dryly, wanting to hit her head on the locker. “What the hell’d she volunteer you for?”
Never Pure Sometimes I wake up, and just hope that everything is fake, that nothing is really real. I sit and hope that if I focus for long enough, the whole world will become a black abyss. But it never is. Nothing ever stops.
One of the most unique creatures are fish. As I am sitting here in my room, my fish are swimming about with not a care in the world. I wonder what it would feel like to be a fish.
