Mollie stared at the lapping waves, watching the inky darkness lap at the ship. With every moment that passed, the little voice in the back of her head grew louder urging her to jump. The fall into the sea wouldn’t kill her, no the beast within it would. The sun slowly slipped from the sky casting shadows across the deck. “Mollie you’re not going to sleep,” Kaldi asked poking his head out from the gally. The smile she gave him didn’t reach her eyes, she shook her head in a no going back to watching the sky. “Hey if you want to talk I’m always in the kitchen.” he stared at her as he spoke as if waiting for her to tell him what she was thinking about. Seeing that she wasn’t going to talk he went back to whatever he was doing before. “Probably washing …show more content…
It was that same voice that stopped her from jumping over. "Y-Yannick,” she stuttered craning her head back to stare up at them in shock. Nervous laughter bubbled out of her at being caught like this. She didn’t know what to do or say, Yannick seemed fine enough with the silence not speaking a word as they meditated. “For a person whose eight feet tall I feel it’s unfair, you can sneak up so quietly,” she muttered to herself looking anywhere but them. Mollie seemed to be the only one feeling awkward, Yannick appeared perfectly at peace. She stared at them for a few more minutes before sitting down next to them, crossing her legs she sat up straight taking a deep breath. “What do you do when it feels like your thoughts are drowning you,” she asked shyly, full of uncertainty. “Have someone sit next to you,” was their simple answer. Mollie stayed silent for a little while swaying from side to side, rolling with the waves. She didn’t know when she started talking but the words flowed from her lips like a river. Fears, hopes, dreams anything that could come to mind she spoke. Once she was done Yannick cracked an eyelid open to glace at her asking,
The sea breeze whipped her hair in her face. She stood on a rock above the glistening sea. Bundled in jackets and scarves to shield her from the cold, she sat down to watch the setting sun. The sunset painted brilliant colors across the sky. Pinks and oranges and reds blended across the sky as if it was a blank canvas, that paint was dripping down. The ocean tide slid along the shore and retreated, each time it did so the ocean retreated farther out revealing a lot of sand. It was marvelous to see the hidden treasures beneath the sea. Suddenly a large wave was seen in the distance. A wall of water towering high. She stood up, not sure if she should run or stay. Running sounded best. She hardly had time to think before the towering wave advanced
Moreover, at the end, she is speechless. Her body language reveals us all. She felt her arm harden.
Brock awoke to the sound of a trumpet. He was ready to get training. Brock put on his long johns, pants, shirt, coat, and hat. Then he slowly walked out of his tent. When he walked out he was greeted by Major General Wayne. He said, “Follow me i'll show you where you will be training.” Brock followed him for a about a mile until they walked into a large field with hundreds of saddled horses, and about 80 other men. Major General Wayne said,
I have received your letter, are the children healthy and well? How are you lately? Have you been sick recently? I am fine, well, as right as one is capable of being over in this land. I have thought of you every second of every day, there is not one moment I have forgotten about you. I just wish to be back home again. Last time you said that Henry was feeling slightly ill, I have some medicine stashed away in the bottom cupboard near the grand clock. If he shall start to feel very poorly, you may go there and find him medicine. You will know which one it is once you see it, I do not want Henry to turn out like poor Will did.
She cried. ‘You let go!’ Lennie was in a panic. His face contorted. She screamed then, and Lennie’s other hand closed over her mouth and nose.
"Dude, stop scaring her!" someone said. "Take her out of the crowd. She's obviously frightened!"
I jumped and looked around for the source of the eery sound. That’s when I saw It. The door. I hadn’t seen It before. The door wasn’t there last night. Cautiously, I turned the handle.
She tossed and turned under the soft blankets of her bed, nestling herself beneath them. Elise laid thinking about where the tiny whispers came from. She had an idea but wasn’t quite sure. A thought surfaced, tell my parents? She asked herself softly. She shook her head violently. No. She couldn’t do that. Even if she
“I just miss Patrick so much!” She sobbed as she walked to her bedroom. Once she walked into her room, she lay in her bed and fell asleep, only to be woken up by the same detectives standing over her bed. “What is the matter?” She asked in a delightful tone.
“Miss? Miss is yous in here?” The mousy voice of her mother’s maid drifted with the dust up to the rafters of the loft. Sally sighed loudly, an uncharacteristic display of exasperation. The day flustered even the mellowest among them.
The Smith’s a family of 4 were at their vacation cabin enjoying a beautiful summer day in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had decided to go camping, while they were out gathering wood for a fire they heard a strange noise. It sounded like an elephant and a pig. The oldest girl told her parents what she had heard and they didn't believe her, they thought she was losing her mind. Until the next night while the kids were asleep John and Joanne heard the same noise their oldest daughter Elizabeth had heard the night before they looked out of their tent to find a strange looking creature with the body of a elephant and the head of a pig standing about 20 yards. They didn't want to scare their kids so the next day when the kids woke up John and Joanne
She splashed through the river the water flashed the sunlight in her eyes making them water. Every sound she made could give her away. She trembled and gasped for air, looking from side to side. Her heart thudded within her chest, the blood traveling to her ears, it muted the sounds around her.
"Why are you sleep walking so much?" Yamaguchi's eyes fluttered open wider. Kageyama hadn't gotten up from bed, he was still lying down. All he did was grab Yamaguchi's arm from how close to his bed Yamaguchi was standing. "Sorry," Yamaguchi said in a light whisper, and he cringed. "Why'd you come to my bed?"
Sora leaned back on the side of the Mysterious Tower, an enigmatic building reaching so high, it scraped the bottom of clouds. A thought swirled in his head as his eyes rested on the cream orange sky. 'I wonder if those are okay, Aqua and Terra.' He suddenly sat up. "Terra and Aqua...why did I think of them just now?"
I could tell he was smiling. The cool breeze bore with it the intoxicating fragrance of wild flowers and made the boat sway in its harmony. I lay on my back, closed my eyes and listened. The ripples that formed on the water, the little waves that swept against the oars, his breaths, my heartbeat -- I listened, for that was all I could do.
