As we walked out the door, I notice Douche walk out at the same time. He glares at me and I quickly walk away before things escalate. I still needed to get my textbooks so Dani, Genysis, and I head towards the library where the twins agreed to meet us.

"So, what did you think of your first day?" Dani asks me.

"It was pretty good. I didn't really expect to make friends so soon, but I'm glad you guys are here," I smile at the both of them.

"Don't worry, things only get worse from here. At least school is half over," Genysis responds. They notice Matt walking out of his class and walk over to meet him. Dani and I stop out of courtesy until the two of them meet up with us again.

He continues on to check out and Dante and Damien help me pick up my books, glaring at Douche.

"Seriously, what is his problem," Damien whispers to me. I shrug and take my books back, pushing the group out the door silently. I turn to leave when I notice the twins stop right outside of the door.

"Even if he does, we'll make sure he doesn't bother you again," he says. I sigh in frustration but say nothing else.

We walk out to the twins' car who offered to drive me home earlier. We chat about the day's events and I see Jadyn out of the corner of my eye, glaring at me as he entered his car. I quickly turn away and hurry up to place my things in the twins' truck.

"Hey, there's a bakery that just opened up a few blocks from here. We should go there, I've been dying to try it," Genysis suggests.

"I'm down for it," Dani replies. We all agree and exchange the address, then enter our respective cars.

When we enter the car, Dante turns and looks back at me from behind the wheel.
