In the distance, the phone is ringing away , pulling deputy director , Lydia Keller out of her mind and back into the station office. Lydia quickly picks the phone up and presses talk, “Deputy director Keller speaking”, a male voice replies,“ma’am, it's constable stilinski” the officer says " we have an emergency and Detective Deyes requests your presence immediately" Lydia let's out a soft breath, whatever's happened must be bad if she is needed at the scene. “whats happened?” She asked. There's a brief pause before stilinski answers "... we have a triple homicide and it's .. messy" Lydia remains expressionless, there's no place for emotions in a job like this “I'll be there right away” Lydia says, hanging up the phone. Lydia briskly walks …show more content…
Destroying the perfect picture of suburbia are the dozens of police cars out the front and the federal officers walking in and out of the house. Lydia walks up the gravel driveway, ducking under the police tape as she makes her way to the door and is greeted at the door by Detective Deyes, “glad you’re here” he says, pushing sweaty black hair off his forehead, “We have a triple homicide, the CSI unit are still collecting evidence, i’ll show you the bodies” he says while handing Lydia gloves, she nods as she slips the gloves and they walk inside. They walk to the master-bedroom where a woman’s body is laying on the bed, she's almost unrecognisable because of her mutilated body, covered in blood. Deyes turns to her “ the medical examiner believes the cause of death is the result of multiple strikes to the body with a blunt object but her throat has also been split so far that she's almost been decapitated” Lydia purses her lips “ what about the other two?”, Deyes leads her up the stairs as he talks “ two young teenagers were also murdered, each shot once, execution style,” Lydia leans against the hallway wall, why would anyone want to murder an innocent family?. Lydia turns to Deyes “ have the victims been identified ?” Deyes nods, and points to a family photo hanging opposite them on the wall, “ an officer knows the family” he says gesturing to the picture, “ they're the

On the early morning hours of May 12th, 2007 Maggie Haines woke up to noises. She didn’t know what was going on so she went into her parents where she found her mother slightly sitting on the edge of her bed. Her mom told Maggie that she needed to go get help. Maggie ran to a neighbors house and they called the police. When they arrived the went to the neighbors house first to ask Maggie what was going on but she couldn’t give them an exact answer. Her father had recently been in the hospital and she thought that there was a possibility that there was a complication with that. After multiple knocks on the Haines’ family home with no response the two responding officers went in and started a sweep of the home. They found sixteen year old Kevin Haines laying facedown in a pool of blood just outside his bedroom door. Inside his bedroom there was blood splattered all across the walls. Down the hall in Tom and Lisa Haines’ room they were also deceased on arrival but the scene in their bedroom wasn’t as bad. Since the majority of the attack was on Kevin Haines it seemed that he was the primary target. No one could think of anyone who would want to do this to the Haines family. The only real person of interest in the beginning was Maggie Haines. She had just come home from college, she was the only survivor, and her demeanor after the murders was odd. Although, she was later cleared of any wrong doing. The Haines family were from Mainheim Township, Pennsylvania and lived on a beautiful quiet street Peach Lane. Tom Haines was married to Lisa Ann Haines and they had two children Maggie and Kevin Haines. Tom Haines was a fifty year old salesman at Motion Industries. Lisa Ann Haines was a forty-seven year old preschool tea...

THE PAST :.. In days gone by, the four species managed to live in perfect harmony. Witches, werewolves and vampires lived in secret, blending in with the humans on a daily basis - and the humans remained completely in the dark about their existence. It was after thousands of years of living this way, whilst everything was completely normal, that a small group of vampires decided that they’d had enough. They spent months devising plans.
☺ (hyphenated modifiers). Three men in SFPD jackets go into smaller markets, rob the store and then murders whoever is working. They set up their robbery by first calling the police to distract them from their crime. One of the three men states that they heard shots half a mile away to force the police to go to a different location. Then once they hear the police sirens they decide to start their robbery. They put on their SFPD windbreakers, masks in their pockets, and guns in their belt. As they walk up to the entrance of the store, they make it seem as if they are police, but the second they get into the store they are no longer police, they are robbers ☺ (simile). They make whoever is working unlock the safe or cash drawer and say, “Everything will be fine. Just do what I say” (Patterson 65). After they get their money, BAM, they shoot the victim and escape, leaving only a dead body and no evidence☺ (onomatopoeia). Lindsay figures that the men are police but she does not know for sure because they are not obeying their job
They are smarter than most police I’ve worked with, they know that I am world famous for solving crimes and are waiting for me to tell them my leads. I tell them that I suspect Sarah. She doesn't have a very good story. I’m going to have to find out more information before I can figure out the case. While I’m at my house trying to figure out this case, I need you to search Sarah’s room and let me know if you find anything about poison, the Howell case, or anything incriminating. Before I go home, I tell Maya that I need her to figure what was the poison that killed Mike and how it killed him.
The Creature That Opened My Eyes Sympathy, anger, hate, and empathy, these are just a few of the emotions that came over me while getting to know and trying to understand the creature created by victor frankenstein in Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. For the first time I became completely enthralled in a novel and learned to appreciate literature not only for the great stories they tell but also for the affect it could have on someones life as cliché as that might sound, if that weren’t enough it also gave me a greater appreciation and understanding of the idiom “never judge a book by its cover.” As a pimply faced, insecure, loner, and at most times self absorbed sophomore in high school I was never one to put anytime or focus when it came time
The desert sun beats down on her as she runs. She has never had to run like this in her life. She is fast, but they are faster, and it’s only moments until they realize she is gone.
No time. He stashed the old rowboat under the aged willow tree where he found it two days before. The blood soaked running suit went into a one Dumpster the gloves into another. He knew the schedule. By 10 AM, they would both be in the landfill. Good luck on finding them.
When these two police departments finally decided to connect the rapes, they have found it was a serial rapist responsible for the assaults. Because the way these women were tied with the same type of shoe laces and the detailed description the recent victim gave, law enforcements were able to find and arrest the rapist. That is when they found the camera he used to take pictures of his victims, one of them being Marie. However, the recent victim also received the same type of scrutiny that Marie had received from the police department because she was able to provide too much details of the offender. As well as have a personal conversation about
“ you can't go looking for him Elena we told you about this Klaus thinks you're dead and we'd like to keep it that way ” Tyler said as we were all at the Salvatore house trying to get everything ready for the party tonight.

As the sun slowly settled, darkness began to overcome the Earth. Sickness—had come. The sickness slowly but readily crept into each home. It was the Midnight Theft. The destructive plague stole during midnight—it stole lives. Deep in the heart of Tukenasville, people were dying, and the whole country was beginning to perish. The flowers withered as they bloomed. The mountain peaks crumbled under steer weight. Animals fled to holes to live out the final moments of their life. People were distraught, and chaos was invading every planet in the macrocosm. People called me Nikolaou Gonfalon. I was the last of the Warriors of Phos. Long ago, the Sisters of Moiré ordained my doomed fate. I tried to bargain with them to change it, but in the end, I captured them and locked them up in a repository on a cliff. I was to lead the expedition to find the cure for the Midnight Theft. That, however, was not the reason why I would go on this journey. My best friend, Tolem, was dying of a rare illness called Takigifeay. It was causing the slow built up of lactic acid on his bones. I knew that death would come to him soon. Legend spoke about a necklace that can bring life to anyone or thing. It was said to have been belonged to an Oceanian, one of the water people. The Lost Jade Necklace of Serenity was what it was called, and it could bring healing to the Earth. Nonetheless, it could be the obliteration of mankind, also. I began to pack since my journey was to start at that moment.
Habits of the Creative Minds is a simple textbook with a particular twist. I began reading the book thinking it was going to be a basic textbook, but the author,Richard E. Miller and Ann Jurecic, changed the tone of the book and put it into a metaphor. This metaphor was about the reader in your writing, or for anyone reading should feel like Alice in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. The reader should be reading, and figuratively fall into the reading, by this the authors means the reader should not want to put that book down. They should be engulfed in the book and read from cover to cover. The attention must be maintained and the best way to do this is by making the writing unique. The authors of this book puts
November 25, 2012. That day, or should I say night that changed everything. My best friend/sister of six years decided she no longer wanted to be friends with me. She looked me in the eye and said, “It’s just not the same.” Most people would say that’s not such a big deal, it happens all the time. In most situations it wouldn’t have been a big deal but that night I would soon realize that my life was going to spiral out of control and I was going to witness a domino effect like no other.
