Once upon a time there was a princess who lived in a beautiful kingdom. One fine morning, she was being fitted for her wedding dress. The princess is not happy as a bride should be when preparing for her wedding. “Why is it that I have to marry?” The princess said. “So the prince can become the heir to the throne so you don't have to rule alone,” replied the servant. The Princess knew she could rule on her own, And what about her happiness? The prince she was engaged to was not a man she wanted to spend the rest of her days with. Her father was a reasonable man, surely he would see this. After the fitting she hurried down to the study and found her father reading as he always did. She gasped and reared back. There was three boys, all similar in size, and appearance. One crouched down and offered a hand to her. Reluctantly she took it and stood shakily. “Who are you?” Robin asked “I’m John,” the boy who offered said. “These are my brothers, Samuel, and Christopher,” he finished. “And you might be-?” The princess was not about to reveal her true identity. “My name is Robin Hood” she announced. The three of the boys seemed pleased by their new acquaintance. She was beautiful and seemed brave to be in the woods alone. “What are you doing out in the woods?” Samuel asked. He knew a girl like that did not belong in the woods. “I am trying to escape my village, I have been betrothed against my wishes.” Robin replied. “What land do you seek? We can take you,” the boys all shook their heads in agreement. Robin was delighted by the idea. Somebody who knew the lands to guide her to safety. “That would be marvelous,” Robin said
