How did humans originate? This is an argument that has been fought over for many years. There are a lot of ideas in place, however our society argues over two of them. The first idea is Creationism. Creationists believe that concept and design require a Creator, and when the principles of design are applied to living organisms, they find a reasonable explanation to believe in the existence of a higher power. Creationists generally believe that all organisms can adapt to their environment to an extent, but do not change so that over time they become completely different organisms than what they were created as. The second theory on how humans came to be is that mankind could have been created by evolution. Evolutionists think that life started from single celled organisms such as bacteria, then evolved into complex organisms, some even into different animals through evolution. In my point of view, I believe the most plausible reasoning behind our existence is the theory of evolution. However, keep in mind that both of these topics of discussion are simply theories as to where mankind originated from.

This is where a fossil’s stratum gets laid down at the same time as another during a different period in time. All living things could not have been created at the same time millions of years ago. The dinosaurs and other species, both mammals and vegetatives, could not have been placed on this Earth at the same time. Fossils show that both early dinosaurs and neanderthals have been found in the same sedimentary rock. The sedimentary rock allows scientists to study fossils in all of the different layers of rock, each layer holding fossils millions of years apart. The “cave dwellers” were founded above the early dinosaurs in the rock layers. This actual evidence shows that mankind could not have been placed at the same time period as the other
Many people believe that we originated from apes and monkey. We can now possibly learn many things from studying and observing chimpanzees and monkeys.
"Where did man come from? Where did time begin? Who, or what, created all things?" These are questions that mankind has sought to answer from the beginning of existence as it is known today. Many stories and fables have been told and passed down from generation to generation, yet two have survived the test of time and criticism.
"On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life," usually shortened to "the Origin of Species," is the full title of Charles Darwin's book, first published in 1859, in which Darwin formalized what we know today as the Theory of Evolution. Although Darwin is the most famous exponent of this theory, he was by no means the first person to suspect the workings of evolution. In fact, Charles owed a considerable debt to his grandfather Erasmus, a leading scientist and intellectual, who published a paper in 1794, calledZoonomia, or, The Laws of Organic Life. This set down many of the ideas that his grandson elaborated on 70 years later.
This varies from an ash and elm tree to pea-pod plants. In the Chinese creation myth, Nuwa went to the Yellow River and formed humans from clay after Ran-gu the dragon dies. Nuwa than realized how long it would take to make enough humans to inhabit over the very vast Earth so, she began flinging mud across the land. Mankind in the Inuit creation myth arose from a pea-pod plant placed by Raven. The offspring of the pea plant was believed to be the first creatures that the Earth possessed. The Norse believed the human race was initiated when Odin lifted an ash and elm tree which produced the human race. This tree was made from the cruel god Ymir’s hair after he was brutally killed. The concept of people being made from organic material is most likely the cause of early being’s dependence on nature. Many people during the time period of this belief used organic material to create shelter which was a long and difficult process. These ancient people believed that the process of creating mankind was lengthy, as the house, therefore, they must have been derived from the same product used to create their
The origin of modern humans is a matter of debate. There are two different theories regarding the origin of modern humans or Homo sapiens. The first and primary theory states modern humans emerged in one place and from a single origin. This theory is known as the Recent African Origin Model. It suggests that modern humans are the product of speciation during the late Pleistocene in Africa. Homo sapiens eventually migrated out of Africa to Eurasia, and replaced all other human populations, without interbreeding. Some of the replaced populations are believe to be the Neanderthals and the Homo erectus. The second theory proposes that modern human evolution happened trough emigration, this is known as the multiregional evolution model. This model assumes that modern humans have an ancient rather than a recent African origin. This theory also talks about how all living humans derive from the species Homo erectus that left Africa nearly two million-years-ago. The multiregional view states that genes from all human populations of the Old World flowed among diverse areas and by coexisting, contributed to how modern humans look like nowadays. In order to understand the rise of modern human, it is important to first learn about the Neanderthals, group who existed and coexisted during the modern human evolution times. The Neanderthals are classified as an extinct subspecies of modern humans known as Homo sapiens Neanderthals, or as a separate human species called the Homo neanderthalensis. Both, the modern human and Neanderthal share some features and differ in others

James Hutton was born June 3rd, 1726, in Edinburgh, Scotland. He was a Scottish farmer and a naturalist, later in life he was known as the father of modern geology.
Humans are descended from barbarians, where do we come from? What are we doing now? Who were our ancestors? These questions puzzled us for thousands of years. Most people believe that God created everything, including humans.
All in all, every culture and religion has their personal beliefs on human civilization and how the earth was produced. The most frequent belief modern day of the first humans, is the story of Adam and Eve. There is a plethora of theories, but none that are one hundred percent accurate. If you ask me, scientist will never know how earth came about and they will never identify who the first humans were. Every “story of creation” is a myth.
In a typical American high school, Mr. Doe, the science teacher begins his discussion on the theory of evolution. John, a student opposes the idea the humans came from apes and evolved. John believes that men came from God and that man was created in 6 days. Jane hears this and argues against John, “How could anything possibly be created in 6 days? This sort of project would take millions of years!” By using up all 45 minutes of class time discussing creationism and evolution, this is a metaphor to the eternal debate as to the origin of the human species. The question of how man came into existence is one of the great debates of this century. There is not enough evidence to support creationism, yet there is even less to support evolution.
The theories of human evolution may always cause a heated dispute. Each theory presents its own evidence proving its acceptance, but lacks enough evidence to prove the other theories incorrect. All the theories that attempt to explain human existence fall under the categories of creation theory, naturalistic evolution theory, and the theistic evolution theory. The creation theory explains that a certain God created the humans, and evolution does not exist. The naturalistic evolution theory states that evolution is driven by purely natural forces, and is not controlled by any input from a god, goddess, or multiple deities. The theistic evolution is a mixture of both creation and naturalistic theories. The theistic evolution theory states that god created the world and guides the evolution process (Religious Tolerance, 2004).
“The ascent of money has led to the ascent of man.”. The greatest question many have sought to answer is the creation vs. evolution debate. How did we get here? Were we created or did we evolve randomly?
The most widely believed explanation of the origins of modern humans is the “Out of Africa Model” (Figure 1). This model says that humanity’s homeland is Africa. Humans simply migrated out of Africa and gradually replaced any other hominid species that they came in contact with (PBS Learning Media, 2007).
Mankind’s origin is from God through creation. The Bible tells us in Genesis chapter 1 verse 27; So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him: male and female created He them. The Bible also says in Genesis chapter 2 verse 7, And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
After wisdom is turned on, a lot of people start thinking about human origins. Many great people have tried to explain the origin of human, they also proposed a variety of unusual ideas and explains, but most people are not accepted their idea. However, the first part of the Bible have a good explanation of the origin of human. There are two different theory about the origins of humanity in the Bible. God according to his own image to create a human, designed to allow humans to communicate with him, to respond to his love, and to serve as managing the affairs responsibilities.
