On October 30, 2017 at approximately 2041 hours, I responded to the area of Amaya Terrace and Brightview Boulevard, Lake Mary, Seminole County in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, I made contact with Deputy Sheriff Pace who was speaking with three individuals.
The subject with who Deputy Pace was speaking to were denying having any knowledge of the subjects who they alleged had just “robbed” them. Surprisingly, while speaking with the group Deputy Pace and I observed two subjects running on Amaya Terrace. We then observed an unknown male carrying a baseball bat walking toward us “stating someone just tried to enter his residence. During this time, we were also approached by a male in a dark colored pickup who stated he was an Uber driver possibly there to pick up the subject we were also looking for.
Consequently, Deputy Pace and I began setting up a perimeter and requested assistance from additional units. Before long, multiple deputies and officers from Lake Mary and Sanford Police Departments arrived on scene. Seminole County Sheriff’s Office’s Alert 2 helicopter also arrived on scene. The Alert 2 crew immediately located the subjects who were later identified and Marcus Melendez and Denny Navarro who were in a driveway on Acuna Court. While observing the clever duo, Alert 2 noticed them entering the Uber

As I witnessed Melendez exit the rear passenger seat of the vehicle, I noticed there was black back on the floor near his feet. Subsequent to Melendez being taken into custody, Deputy Pace checked the backpack and located a prescription pill bottle that did not contain a label, but did contain marijuana and several rectangular white pills which were identified using the drugs.com pill identifier as
Steve Bogira, a prizewinning writer, spent a year observing Chicago's Cook County Criminal Courthouse. The author focuses on two main issues, the death penalty and innocent defendants who are getting convicted by the pressure of plea bargains, which will be the focus of this review. The book tells many different stories that are told by defendants, prosecutors, a judge, clerks, and jurors; all the people who are being affected and contributing to the miscarriage of justice in today’s courtrooms.
Stacy walked to the above business and was told by Molina that an unknown male suspect stole her cellular telephone. Molina reportedly pointed at the suspect and told Stacy, “That’s the guy.” Stacy told me that he recalled speaking with the unknown suspect prior to Molina advising him of the above incident. Stacy immediately began running after the suspect. Stacy ran south on Los Robles Avenue and saw the suspect continue riding his bicycle onto eastbound Villa Street and out of sight. Stacy flagged down Officer Banuelos and advised him of the incident. Officer Banuelos advised units of the incident and conducted an area check for the suspect but was unable to locate

One day, I went to the superior court in Boston and to the District court. One of the cases that I observed at the Superior court was a case of assault and battery that happened at a train station on August 2014. an African American male who pushed a young male on a train track at South Station MBTA. During the court session, everyone gathered together to hear the assault and battery case that take place at the train station.
Throughout history there have always been issues concerning judicial courts and proceedings: issues that include everything from the new democracy of Athens, Greece, to the controversial verdict in the Casey Anthony trial as well as the Trayvon Martin trial. One of the more recent and ever changing issues revolves around cameras being allowed and used inside courtrooms. It was stated in the Handbook of Court Administration and Management by Stephen W. Hays and Cole Blease Graham, Jr. that “the question of whether or not to allow cameras in American courtrooms has been debated for nearly fifty years by scholars, media representatives, concerned citizens, and others involved in the criminal justice system.” The negatives that can be attached to the presence of cameras inside a courtroom are just as present, if not more present, than the positives that go hand-in-hand with the presence of cameras.
According to authorities, San Diego police had been surveilling Loaiza's vehicle because they believed it may have been used to smuggle drugs. The courts have the function of giving the public a chance to present themselves whether to prosecute or defend themselves if any disputes against them rise. It is known to everyone that a court is a place where disputes can be settled while using the right and proper procedures. In the Criminal court is the luxury of going through a tedious process of breaking a law. Once you have been arrested and have to go to court because of the arrest, you now have a criminal case appointed against you. The court is also the place where a just, fair and unbiased trial can be heard so that it would not cause any disadvantage to either of the party involved in the dispute. The parties are given a chance to represent themselves or to choose to have a legal representative, which is mostly preferred by many.
The court case is United States District Court Southern District of Texas. United States of America ~vs~ Adrian Torres the location is on 515 Rusk Street, Houston Texas 77002. The presiding Judge is David Hittner in room 8509 at 10:30 a.m. The people in the court room were not that many but it felt like it was taking for ever to hear the judge call him up to the stand to hear his case outcome. The experience was different being that I was just there to observe the process and I was sort of amazed on how professional a direct the judge was. The judge readdressed that he was given an opportunity and failed to comply with the rule but yet again had failed the system and was aware that he was at fault. You could hear it in his tone of voice that he already had a
For my field experience, I chose to attend a court case. On October 14th, 2015 I went to the District of Columbia court and watched a sentencing. It was not at all what I initially expected although after sitting in class for several weeks I was not shocked by it. What surprised me most was the informal, personal nature that the whole process had. The experience was interesting and I feel that I learned a lot from it.
