Recommended: Differences in communication and the effects of technology on interpersonal relationships

Usually, everyone will fall in love with others, more or less, when he or she grows up. This is one of the most important part in one’s life because this will affect the marriage, family or even the business. When people fall in love with someone, they will keep on missing him or her, struggling in the dark night. Of course, people desire to communicate with the person they love. In the past, people don’t have any ways to chat when they go back home. They can just see each other in the daytime when they are in school, or in work, something like that. But now it is modern time, people have phones, computers, they can easily contact with each other at any time, anywhere. Now, sending texts is a very popular and convenient way for lovers to chat …show more content…

Among the participants, 38% were in a serious relationship, 46% were engaged and 16% were married (Sifferlin, A. 2013). This means the survey is convictive because 90% participants in the study have wonderful relationship with their lovers. All participants here said that they sent texts to their lovers every day, just like what normal lovers do. However, the conclusion is that the main factor that influences the relationship is not the volume of the texts, but the quality of texts. It does not mean sending texts is not good for the relationship, but shows that massive texts do not actually increase the relationship. People will feel annoyed, or upset when their lovers keep sending texts and do not stop because everyone has their own things to do, such as work, hobbies or sudden event. Massive texts will act as an encumbrance in life. Redundant texts not only will not help the relationship, but also probably hurt it because people feel instinctively agitated dealing with so many things. When people feel agitated one time, it will not make any sense. However, if the rate of this kind of thing happening increases, people will start contradict replying all the texts, which might hurt the relationship gradually. Also, the participants said that they like texting with their lovers if properly, so actually sending texts is a good way to enhance relationship, if it is used well. Overall, texting is helpful for the romance relationship when people do not use it too
