In The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger, the main character is Holden Caulfield, a sixteen year old boy who got kicked out of boarding school. In this essay I will be comparing and contrasting Holden with Phoebe Caulfield, his sister. I will also be comparing and contrasting Holden with Robert Ackley, an acquaintance from Pencey Prep.
