Recommended: Pros and cons of a computer

Personal computers have been advertised and purchased by consumers for years. It seems every time we look up there’s a new one with even more advanced technology and features than the last. Over time it can be difficult to keep up with them all, so we may purchase one ever so often or when we have the money to do so. It’s even hard to believe that a PC advertised 5 years ago as the new and trending thing looks like a dinosaur compared to what we have today. In this paper I will be comparing two PC’s (one older and the other newer) and discussing some of their differences, comparisons, features, etc. Were there any similarities between the two? How are they different? And what do newer technologies like PC’s have to offer that older ones don’t? …show more content…

For some consumers they like the “full package” of a laptop but enjoy the flexibility and easy access of a tablet. This system offers the best of both worlds. Some “pros” that are listed on this PC’s advertisement include almost 12 hours of battery life, good port selection; which are slots and ports for USB’s, Express Cards, Thunderbolts, HDMI, FireWire, etc) and sharp IPS display. IPS (In-Plane Switching) is more frequently found in more expensive monitors but more recently found in tablets as well.
