Grab N Go
Attention: There are several people in the world that wonder if there are some ways to reduce how long they wait for their meal at a restaurant. I guarantee that customers are tired of sitting in long lines while starving after a long day. Loyal customers are usually waiting in line for their food for a very long time. Some people who t want something as simple as a drink wait in line for several minutes. A study states that the average drive through time was at 173 seconds then it went up to 181 seconds, and the highest record was 203 seconds( Tuttle, 2014). These numbers that are stated are ridiculous because by the time a person receives their food it will be cold, and no one wants to eat cold food.

People sitting in hot cars could cause heat strokes, or a person to become irritable. This problem is very devastating because no loyal customer should not have to go through the stress of getting a simple meal.
Why the Grab N Go is needed.....
1.) Giving customers wrong order, because there are too many people in line.
2. ) Cars Skipping Each other in line.
3.)Fast Food restaurants server 50 million customers per day(
How Panera Solved Its “Mosh Pit” Problem; Sandwich-and-soup chain cut wait time order from eight minutes to one, thanks to in-store touch screens, a mobile app and an army of delivery drivers Summary
The ordering process sometimes is slow during the lunch and dinner hours. In order to reduce the waiting time, Chipotle created its mobile app recently. Hence, customers who place their orders using the mobile app can skip the line when they arrive and pick up their food directly at the payment station. However, only a few people
In all of history, no war seems to have touched the minds of people everywhere as much as World War II. This war brought about some of the worst violations of human rights ever seen. The German military created a system for the public to follow, and if the individual opposed, he was oppressed. This kind of mentality is presented in the novel, Catch-22 (1955). Joseph Heller uses the insane situations of the setting and his characters to show a unique perspective on World War II.
Do you ever think you are rushed during lunch and not able to have a good lunch experience? I do! Here at my school we get 18 minutes of lunch (I timed it myself). Sometimes we're late to lunch and we have to clean up early, so then theres not much time to finish our lunch. Compare our lunch of 20 minutes time to the1hour - 2 hours lunch that the french children get. Our lunch time is not a lot of time.
after being seated, and the time to get the order after it was placed. Several
In “The Fish” by Elizabeth Bishop, the narrator attempts to understand the relationship between humans and nature and finds herself concluding that they are intertwined due to humans’ underlying need to take away from nature, whether through the act of poetic imagination or through the exploitation and contamination of nature. Bishop’s view of nature changes from one where it is an unknown, mysterious, and fearful presence that is antagonistic, to one that characterizes nature as being resilient when faced against harm and often victimized by people. Mary Oliver’s poem also titled “The Fish” offers a response to Bishop’s idea that people are harming nature, by providing another reason as to why people are harming nature, which is due to how people are unable to view nature as something that exists and goes beyond the purpose of serving human needs and offers a different interpretation of the relationship between man and nature. Oliver believes that nature serves as subsidence for humans, both physically and spiritually. Unlike Bishop who finds peace through understanding her role in nature’s plight and acceptance at the merging between the natural and human worlds, Oliver finds that through the literal act of consuming nature can she obtain a form of empowerment that allows her to become one with nature.
The term “fast-food” is usually distinguished by food served very quickly to a customer by drive-through or carry-out. Fast-food restaurants are highly associated with low-cost and malnutrition foods with brief consumer and employee interaction, and below average cleanliness based on restaurant health inspection reports. Chick-fil-A has changed the usual perception of fast-food restaurants. Rather than burgers and potato fries, Chick-fil-A serves chicken sandwiches and waffle fries. Chick-fil-A also shows their appreciation for employee to customer relations, rather than ignoring the social aspect of serving customers when operating at a fast pace. Chick-fil-A’s menu selection, customer interaction, and clean eating
We can all agree that each of us have our own particular favorite fast food restaurant. The fast food industry has really opened up and added a variety of food that you can quickly grab on the go. This makes it hard for the average American to ignore, because everyone is looking for the quickest and simplest ways to get things done in this fast paced
Fast food is widely considered a hallmark of American culture, but has spread worldwide. In a society where everyone is always on the go, the fast food industry has persuaded people to give up quality in favor of artificially-enhanced taste and drive thru convenience. Experts often blame fast food for obesity and related health problems. By using advancing kitchen technology to move towards efficient large-scale production rather than increased quality, the fast food industry has created lower quality food, forced lower standards of taste, and has caused adverse health effects in it’s consumers.
A driver is constantly fighting distractions while behind the wheel. Manual distraction is the act of physically taking your hands off of the wheel. This can happen while eating or interacting with other passengers. According to a Lytx study in 2014, a driver who is drinking or eating is 3.6 times more likely to be in an automobile crash than attentive drivers who are not eating or drinking while driving (Eating While Driving). You are less likely to react as quickly when you have a burger in your hand than if you are completely focused. What’s more important? The cheeseburger, or your life? There is currently no law against eating while driving, but there sure should be. Eating not only causes manual distraction, but also visual distraction. While looking down at your food visualizing the next bite, your eyes are off the road. This means more traveling without looking at the road. If a child or animal runs in front of the vehicle there is no way of avoiding
Mobile ordering/paying – with improvements to technology, McDonalds could introduce an app that would allow consumers to order through their smartphones, pick it up and possibly even pay through their phones, making everything a much more smooth process.
I recommend that we decrease the average service times for all food stations as well as reduce the minimum service time for the interactive cooking station and increase the inter-arrival time. We can implement this by offering specials a half hour to an hour before the rush period begins, have enough precooked meals available to accommodate the rush and precook the ingredients for the interactive station. We can also have the manager step in as the second cashier whenever a certain amount of time transpires. The cashier on duty can signal to the manager by hand gestures or a light when the wait time has exceeded two minutes, respectively. I also recommend that the layout of the cafeteria be changed. The new layout will give us better organization of the lines in order to decrease confusion.
Every summer news stations across America report the tragic death or terrible injuries of young children and pets because they were left in hot cars. According to CNN, an average of about “37 children die each year in hot cars” as well as thousands of pets. Though these horrible stories touch our hearts, the problem still continues. While the parents/ adults are to blame for these terrible events, I believe that there must be something we can develop that will help to prevent these incidents. Along with solving this horrible crisis, the product will make people’s lives easier as it will keep their car cool during the hot summer months. The product would be placed in cars on the window and would cool the car down when it got over a certain temperature.
When I receive cold food or slow service, it can cause me to become outspoken. I can be receiving the best service, but if I am served cold food, it ruins the entire experience. On the other hand, if I receive slow service it does not matter how great the food may be, the experience is ruined.
Lack of time to cook a proper meal and decide to order fast food? This situation always happened in everyone daily life. This shows that choosing fast food as a meal is already a trend in this modern era. Fast food and home cooked meal can be differentiated by time, cost and its nutrition value.
