For ages dogs and cats have had a rivalry over who is better. For ages there grudging relationship has been comedic gold on youtube and other media sites, but one question has yet to be answered which really is the better race. For years I have been observing each of the species carefully and i have finally come to a conclusion Dogs also known as man's best friend has several more appealing traits then the living rodent trap, the cat.

The cat has many appealing traits that i find appealing. Despite cats being antisocial kittens are one of the most visually appealing young animals on earth, they are very playful and energetic it's almost like they are a complete different animal than their adult counterpart. Cats are very curious animals and love to explore they love to explore and have practically no boundaries because they are very agile and have retractable claws that are excellent for those challenging climbs they can often be found anywhere from the top shelf of your kitchen cabinets, to the underside of your bed. Cats love to lay around and do nothing when they're not on there adventures which happens to be the majority of the time, so they are perfect for someone who doesn't have to train and play with their pet. …show more content…

Dogs are more than pets they are friends who would do anything for . A dog's love for their master is unbelievably true they are always excited to see their companion if they are treated correctly. Dogs are playful and energetic until they can't be, they love to be around and they wouldn't ever leave the side of there master if they could. Unlike the cat dogs aren't very intelligent and tend to need to be trained more thoroughly. Because of their obedient nature once establish dominance they can be trained to do more than cats with a lot less time and dedication this makes dogs the better animal to own for people looking for a companion to make memories
