Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton were both men for the greater good and for the future of the nation. Jefferson and Hamilton had their differences, and public policies but also similarities. Thomas and Alexander were both part of different political parties. The political parties were called Federalists and anti-Federalists. Federalists were led by Alexander Hamilton who were a group of people were for a strong governments and strong government. The anti-federalist’s leader was none other but Thomas Jefferson. The anti- federalists did not want such a strong government that was built by the aspects of the U.S. constitution. Thomas wanted the main government branch to be focus around the principles of freedom. Alexander Hamilton did not intend to force people to do anything they did not want to do. Alexander saw freedom uncontrollable and that it would be chaotic at times. Hamilton wanted to have pre-cautions set in motion. Thomas Jefferson wanted the people to choose their path and deal with problems accordingly. The Federalists were the most powerful political party, while the anti-federalists had aspects that were built around choice. Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton were two men that wanted to create a system built around different principles. Thomas Jefferson a man committed around the choices of others, and a patriot of freedom. Alexander Hamilton another man that focused on a more controlling government manufactured with the aspects of a dictatorship. These governments and differences were made to secure our future.
