A song is a poem in disguise and it creates emotions for the listener. Every songwriter gets their inspiration from somewhere, for example Henry’s Lau inspiration is a Korean drama. To begin with, Henry Lau wrote “it’s you” and release it on October 4, 2017. Along with writing the song, he also sang it (Wozumo). To me, the meaning of the song is pretty straightforward because the lyrics are easy to understand. It is about a young man who is deeply in love and want to express his feeling for a girl. I think the song is very moving, catchy, and it shows how he is trying hard to explain how he feels because he cannot put it into simple words. It also relatable because growing up everyone has been through this moment before and that is part of why it is so catchy and popular. I love this song because when I’m stressed, I listen to it and it makes me happy. When I study I like to listen to music and this one is my go-to. I have a strong love for Korea, therefore I love watching their dramas and listening to their music. What I take away from this song is that love is really beautiful. Sometimes you go through heartbreak, but it is worth it in the end because being in love is a wonderful
This famous song by Miley Cyrus was a big hit in the late 2000’s, almost every kid loved it. They danced and singed to every word. Mileys theme in the song was about how don't be afraid to try new things and never give up on your dreams. In this song she was talking about how she flew to Los Angeles, California to pursue her dream. When she finally came she called a taxi and a song came on that she recognized, it was a Jay-Z song.
In the opening line of his song his girlfriend leaves him, but he goes for a drive to clear his mind and his life takes a turn. He
In essence, this song carries various sociological concepts. It concentrates on the main idea about the social construction of reality and talking about how reality is changing. The song questions the actions and mentally of individuals violating the norms and values of society. The band takes into consideration various factors of why it is happening including the media and religion. As a result they talk about such influences taking control building and developing a sense of self. This is a great song about present day problems and how society changes with them.
This song talks a lot about the baggage of the past that people hold onto instead of letting it go. All that baggage is only going to end up hurting you more and more instead of helping you in any way possible. An example is the opening
The song is interesting because reading the lyrics, listening to the song, and watching the music video all give different meanings about the song. Reading the lyrics suggests that the song is a depressing story about the inner turmoil the writer is feeling and how he is not sure what to do with his life. But after listening to this upbeat and happy song, it seems like it may not be as dreary as it seemed at first. After watching the music video the message can be reinterpreted to be about the internal conflicts of a soldier fighting in a war and he does not know what he is fighting for. The fact that the music completely changes how the lyrics are interpreted is interesting. Nate uses many literary techniques to make this song mysterious and open to interpretation depending on how it is experienced.
My impressions of this song is that it’s a good remix of their African roots and more modern pop. The whole song has a nice melody effected by African rhythms which really match Nico and Vinz’s voices. I have heard the song far to often but I still think it’s a good song.
The man feels abandoned in a corner and he drinks for the sadness he feels. While drinking, he tells himself I do not understand why you left me, if I know she loved me, so if you ever regret your decision he will be waiting for you. Basically, the man feels broken emotionally because the women he loved, left him for no reason. This song to me is not a dancing song, however the song is more about remembering your ex-wife, ex-girlfriend or ex husband and ex-boyfriend. For me personally, this song reminds me of drinking, the title literally means bitter shots of liquor. The way the song shares the hurt the man feels by the women that left him. I could almost picture a man sitting at a bar drinking to his ex saying, “I’m drinking because of you, you caused this”. I could picture that scene in my head because I have seen my friends in Mexico and my cousins in Mexico do
CSNY is profoundly successful in conveying their message in the song by using the right lyrics and vocals accompanied by the tune of the guitars. “Helplessly Hoping” can be interpreted in so many ways that in either way it, nonetheless, will insinuate on the same thing, which is love. As they put it love is not lying, and it will always be around. Listening to the song can put one in an emotional roller-coaster that its theme can be known beforehand. This perplexed relationship describes the essence of love, and its implications. It reflects on how love can be capricious, which gives a sense of mystery. The harmony of the group in the song makes it one of my favorites, and puts it in my top list of love songs in all times.
Her song is about her feelings of sadness that come around the ending summer; The main theme is about Lana and her summertime sweetheart having to part ways by summers end and her emotions of when that last encounter occurs. Summer romances are always short and fun, but ending the summer relationship is always a bit saddening and depressing. Although I personally do not relate with a romantic experience from this past summer, the feelings she describes in the song whe...
The song, “Just a Girl,” relates so well to the short story, “The Necklace.” It relates in many ways and shows many different sides of the story including: how she let the money get her her, what she is like when she sees her old friend after many harsh years, what her husband thinks of her, and lastly how she confused where she stood in the class systems. Overall, I would say that this song is a good comparison to the story and the main
This song is Jay-Z singing about...Jay-Z. In this song he sounds very conceded. He is 'the Ruler', and when he says "I'm back n***a", there are trumpets playing in the background, jsut like you'd imagine them being played for royalty. He talks about how rich he is, and how he doesn't care if he goes to court, he says"What's a couple dollars to me?" and the only thing he cares about is that you respect him. I dunno, it's kinda tough respecting someone with that big an ego. But it's kinda cool, in the beginning the beat goes with his laugh, it reminds me of how we're supposed to get the virbrato on flute, the whole "hahaha" thing.
He’s a well known Musician and Lyricist around the globe, but he’s mainly known for his top selling albums and songs, ranging from his first album produced in 2011, “+” containing his first ever hit single “The A Team”. His most recent albums include “X” (2014) and his current hit album “Divide” which contains his number one single that made it to number one on the Billboard Top 100, “Shape of You”. Ed Sheeran describes this song as a “straightforward” type of song, as the lyrics are based about him falling for a Woman’s body which quickly escalated from the moment they met at a bar. It’s a typical meet at the bar, and end up waking up together kind of song as we can all hear within this song. But in an interview with ‘popsugar.com.au’ he stated that this song wasn’t meant to be on the album (but we are glad it is) and he actually wrote it for the R&B artist Rihanna, but decided that he was going to sing it.
What exactly does Christina Aguilera try to convey? According to her words along with personal interviews of the true meaning of this stanza in her song, Beautiful, Christina Aguilera approaches the reader and listener with her profound emotions. She perceives that through immense pressure and criticism, she is still "beautiful."
The song starts with a happy sounding beat which makes the listener think the song is going to be happy. The instrumental of this song could be my everyday theme music because of my bubbly attitude. The song starts with the chorus, “Loving is easy, you have me messed up. It used to be so hard to see.” To the listener, it seems as though the singer is explaining how easy it is to be in love, and how he never realize this until now.
This song reassures us that in a world so vast and separated, people can be brought together by love and faith. Similarly, "Dreaming of You" expresses that life can be an unexpected fairytale in which our dreams can and do come true. It paints a picture of a female/male night after night dreaming about the person she/he loves; longing, waiting for the courage to express that love.... ... middle of paper ... ... Listeners reap from this conclusion the sense of hope needed to live out their lives.
