once apon a time there was a dog named Romeo. Romeo was a border colly and her was my best friend. He was sweet, kind, fun, and loyal. Romeo loved making friends and was never mean. He loved giving kisses and hugs. He loved playing with a basket ball in his big back yaerd. Which he loved even more when we mowed it. He would always come in with green paws and we would tell him that he was turning into the Halc. Rome had a great sence of humor and would always make me laphe. He always made me feel better when I was sad. He would lick my tears away. When Romeo left the family it was like a part of me left with him and it was hard. I cried when I thought of him, when I saw another dog, or when I saw one of his toys. I'm better knowing that
Throughout Shakespeare's “Romeo and Juliet” we learn of the string bond Romeo has with his two friends, Benvolio and Mercutio. However, Benvolio proves himself time and time again to be there better of friends to Romeo. Benvolio is honest, loyal, and cares deeply for Romeo, all of which are excellent characteristics which make a great friend.
where Romeo seeks his dead love. When Romeo sees Juliet dead he instantly falls apart
Out of his love for you, he came to that party, and at this party, he met Juliet, his future wife. Now, we cannot put the blame for them falling in love on you. However, it is of the opinion of the court that you, Rosaline, tendered Romeo's heart, making him prone to fall in love easily. This may also have caused his easiness to slip in and out of moods. This is shown when he, at first was against all fights and was trying to keep the peace between his friend Mercutio, and enemy Tybalt. Soon after Tybalt slay Mercutio, Romeo suddenly had a change of heart and avenged his friends death, and for this reason was banished from his hometown Verona.
A great leader and strong role model, Romeo knows when to have fun and when to fool around with his friends. Romeo will be remembered by one of his favorite quotes, “But, soft! what light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.” Romeo was one to express his love for Juliet and show his emotions.
Romeo and Juliet, written by William Shakespeare, is a tragic love story about two young lovers who are forced to be estranged as a result of their feuding families. The play is about their struggle to contravene fate and create a future together. As such, it was only a matter of time before Hollywood would try and emulate Shakespeare’s masterpiece. This had been done before in many films. Prominent among them were, Franco Zeffirelli’s 1968 “Romeo and Juliet” and Baz Luhrmann’s 1996 “William Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet.” Both films stay true to the themes of Shakespeare’s original play. However, the modernised Luhrmann film not only maintains the essence of Shakespeare’s writings, Luhrmann makes it relevant to a teenage audience. This is done through the renewal of props and costumes, the reconstruction of the prologue and the upgrading of the setting, whilst preserving the original Shakespearean language. Out of the two, it is Luhrmann who targets Romeo & Juliet to a younger audience to a much larger extent than Zeffirelli.
Romeo's perception of love as "rough" is generally due to his own response to the events in his life. Mercutio sees love as a "tender thing," and therefore offers this advice:
Friar Laurence- The Friar is a friend of Romeo. Friar Laurence is the guy Romeo comes to when he has a problem. He is also a very intelligent botanist who is very passionate about his work.
After Romeo’s breakup with Rosaline, Benvolio and Romeo end up reading a letter stating that the capulets are having a party. After hearing this, Romeo’s friends decide to go to the party in attempt to cheer up Romeo. Upon arriving at the party, Romeo spots juliet, falling in love with her at first sight. “...Did my heart love till now? forswear it, sight! For I ne'er saw true beauty till this night”
Romeo has an obsessive personality. The morning before he meets Juliet, he is obsessing on Rosaline. To see Rosaline, Romeo snuck into a Capulet’s party; once there, he meets Juliet and instantly he forgets his obsession of Rosaline, thinking Juliet is the most beautiful creature on earth. Friar Lawrence even acknowledges this when he states, “Young men’s love then lies / Not truly in their hearts but in their eyes” (II iii 67-68). Romeo’s affection is easily swayed from Rosaline to Juliet.
As Romeo proceeds through the play he reveals many characterics that show him as a tragic hero. Romeo’s trait to jump conclusions led him to an early death. This loss was not pure loss because he finally got to be with his true love. The many tragedies Romeo endures during the play keeps the reader enticed and very interested. Romeo is not the town superhero or famous in any way he is a normal guy who endures in many downfalls, suffering, and defeats.
stays alone and frequently goes to the forest to lie on the grass and witness nature
Romeo is a good character for many reasons. First, he is very romantic to the woman he loves. Romeo treats Juliet with care, respect, and kindness, making him a good husband. He compliments her beauty repeatedly throughout the play. For example, in Act 1 Scene 5 line-41-42 Romeo says to Juliet, “Which lady is that, which doth enrich her hand/ Of yonder knight?” He is struck by how beautiful she is and he wishes to touch her and be enriched with her beauty. Also, in Act 2 Scene 2 lines 4-6, Romeo speaks to Juliet from her garden. He tells her that she is impossibly beautiful by saying, “Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon, / Who is already sick and pale with grief, / That thou her maid art far more fair than she.” This proves Romeo to be good because it shows how much he cares about her and the way he treats her makes her feel good about herself. This is important because it builds up her confidence...
Romeo started off as humble innocent boy who was black and gay. During the movie you seen the way that Romeo was out casted for being black and gay he even had his head pushed in the lockers by the bullies. Romeo accepted the fact that he was going to be out casted because of the way he was. However, that never changed his love he had for his boyfriend. Even through Romeo boyfriend friends was the one terrorizing him? Romeo never changed his heart and emotions towards his boyfriend. Romeo showed the psychology emotion which is known as “feeling results in physical and psychological changes that influence thought and behavior” (Cannon, W. B. (1927)). Romeo thoughts about his boyfriend was always positive. Romeo never let what people around him
A king among men who loved me with the heart of a man but loved Rome with the heart of a Roman
“O Romeo, O Romeo! Wherefore art thou Romeo?” This quote from one of Shakespeare’s most well known plays “Romeo and Juliet” is probably one of the most well known quotes from the story. The tragedy of “Romeo and Juliet” starts out as a tale of two star-crossed lovers whose fate led them to meet while they each came from two families who hate each other. Throughout the play, they fall more and more in love and are so desperate to be together they end up killing themselves in the process. This may have ended the feud, but it still ended with two teenagers, one’s mother, one’s cousin, and one’s best friend dead. Romeo and Juliet may have killed themselves, but their deaths were caused by fate, and their families’ hatred toward one another.
