It’s the journey of a daughter taking it upon herself in trying to undo her mother’s mistake and attempts to fix the world as atonement.
The running concept is the two myths that follow one another, albeit indirectly even though it follows sharing characters. Mainly, Pandora’s Box and the Deluge or better known as the Flood myth; the relation between these two myths and how one leads into or cause the other’s events to happen. The player is to play as Pyrrah, the offspring of Pandora & Epimetheus, who makes it her quest to right her mother’s mistake and restore humanity to its pure state. Slowly, you see humanity slowly corrupt from unknown forces; it’s up to you to correct a mistake long in the past in the hope of bringing the world back from the brink. Otherwise, the Gods will sooner decide an attempt to wipe out the corruption, and should the eyesore that is humanity should follow? So be it! Pandora is a woman, or being, made by the God Hephaistos the blacksmith god by Zeus to give as a gift to Prometheus’ brother: Epimetheus. This is in relation to Zeus’s anger toward Prometheus for stealing and giving people fire. Along with Pandora was a Locked Box, telling Epimetheus to never open the box before handing over the Key to Pandora ’s Box. Pandora’s curiosity ended up growing larger and larger with each passing day of what was in the box, which led her to plead with her husband to be allowed to open the box she is so constantly denied. The first chance that Pandora was able, she stole the key and opens the box that unleashed every horror and evils unknown across the land before the box could be shut and locked again.
