Religion is the one thing that can be found in any part of the world. The real history, people have always use religion for the meaning of life or tell what happened after death. Over the centuries religion have dominated the world Christianity, Islam, and Buddhism are some of the largest religious groups in the world. Where did these religious groups come from? Who are the man that started them? How do these men compared to one another? These are some of the questions people in the world are asking.

Muhammad is the creator of Islam. He is the son of Aminah and Abdullah ihn Abdul-Muttalih. He was born in Mecca in the year 570 CE. His birth name was Abū al-Qāsim Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib ibn Hāshim. His parents died before his 6th birthday, so he went to live with his uncle Abu Talib. He worked as a merchant like his uncle.
Buddha is on is the fourth largest religion in the world. Buddha is the creator of Buddhism. He was the son of Queen Mayadevi and King Shuddhodana. He was born in Lumbini in the year 563 BCE or 480 BCE. His birth name was Siddhartha Gautama. His mother died shortly after his birth. He was a prince of the Shakya Clan. He lived in total seclusion from the outside world until his late twenties.

Jesus taught many things, but here are a few of his teachings. First he taught it was only one true God and he was the father of all mankind. God believe that all humans were his children. He loved and care for us but he hated the sins people committed on this world. God wanted all mankind to return to Him and he would forgive all sins we have committed on this earth. Jesus taught for us to love each other. We were to love each other no matter what. Not to do is love family and friends and family, but to love even the ones who have use image treated us. Loving everyone was yours way to show your love for God too. Jesus also talk about the kingdom of God aka heaven. Heaven was the place where you would go from all your heartache, sadness, and depression. There was no hunger or homelessness. Everyone was happy and free from the sinners. it was the paradise all of mankind would want to live and flourish in. Muhammad taught many things but here are a few of them. First, there was only one true God. That people should stop idolizing all the false gods and surrender to the one true God. He also taught ways to live your life in a righteous way. Showing mercy to others and heaven will have shown you mercy. Being honest was the only way that will lead you to heavens doors and lying would lead you to fires of hell. Siddhartha Gautama is famously known as Gautama Buddha and was the founder of the idea of Buddhism. The Buddha was known to possess supernatural powers and abilities. He was born in the holy land of Nepal and his journey began in India when he decided to travel and teach himself about life. In the midst of his journey, he discovered Buddhism after he experienced a profound realization of the nature of life, death and existence. Buddhism became a religion based on the teachings of Siddhartha Gautama and since then Buddhism has been popular throughout many civilizations. Buddhism is now one of the most ancient religions in the world, where people follow Buddha, which stand for “awakened one,” and Buddhism which has gained popularity because of the teachings of the Buddha.
The main points of Jesus’ teaching were that God loves you and is with you, to love one another, of the immense value of each person. The Good News: The kingdom of God has come to earth. The reality of judgment in heaven or hell and that God forgives those who ask. Mohammed’s life, ministry and death started when the Prophet of Islam was born in the year 570 B.C. Born into an affluent family, he would lose both of his parents by the age of six. Mohammed became a camel driver traveling between Syria and Arabia, later he would become a caravan manager for wealthy merchants, which lead him to meet his wife Khadija, 15 years his senior, and she was his only wife until her death 24 years later.
Buddhism originated from India, and was founded by Prince Siddharta Gautama, who later came to be known as Buddha, or the enlightened one. Born of a princely caste, he later renounced his comfortable life in search for nirvana. In order to do that, he joined a band of ascetic, who was a group of Hindu priests. In his teaching, the Buddha taught his followers to follow "the middle way", that is, not the way of extreme asceticism. He attained full understanding of the nature of being by meditation and after his success, decided to impart his knowledge to those who follow him .
Jesus is said to have been born around 4-6 BC. When Jesus was 30 he began his ministry. Many of the reasons that his religion succeeded were that it treated everyone equally promised eternal life and was centered on on your personal relationship with God. Jesus¹ teachings included love for God, neighbors, enemies and yourself. The ten commandments and the basic foundation of Judaism was included in his teachings as Jesus was born a Jew.
There are many different characteristics that bring territories together and make them stronger. One of these is religion. Religion is the organized system of beliefs, ceremonies, and rules used to worship a god or a group of gods. In these religions, there is usually a leader to guide the people in their belief and show them the right path to take to serve their god. Throughout history there have been many different types of religion. The three main ones that are still recognized today are Buddhism, Christianity, and Islam. Each had different people that were seen as a leader. In order for others to know about these leaders and the works they did, there were many stories that were written about them. These stories were created to spread knowledge of their religion and how one was to act when following it. Three documents of the 300 B.C.E-800 B.C.E time period that were about religious leaders are Asokavadana, Life of Constantine, and The Life of Muhammad, Apostle of Allah and were written with persuasive purposes to show which behaviors were approved and disapproved of by looking into inspired men’s lives.
Christianity is one of the world’s major religions. It’s built on the idea that Jesus Christ is the Son of God whom God sent to save mankind. Christians believe in Jesus as a leader and savior, and follow his teachings. According to Christianity, Jesus is a divine being whom a virgin mother conceived of. God made this occurrence possible. Jesus however grew and lived among humans on earth over 2000 years ago. Jesus was a Jew, he lived and died in Israel and spent his life in ministry with his disciples, teaching and spreading the word of God and the message of God’s love. Jesus is the central figure of Christianity. His contemporaries recognized the fact that he was leader. Jesus as a Christian leader had 5 basic roles: he was regarded as the messenger of God, he was to serve as a mouthpiece of God, he was to pass his message to the people whom he was sent to, he was to prepare the people on earth for the coming of the kingdom of God, and lastly to proclaim the kingdom of God and the consequences for not preparing for it.

Buddhism is considered a dominant worldwide religion with a conglomerate history and system of beliefs. Historians believe that the founder of Buddhism was Siddhartha Gautama who lived from approximately 566 to 480 B.C. Gautama was the son of an Indian warrior-king that lived a lavish life up until his early adulthood, taking pleasure on the fortunate opportunities of his social status (PBS, n.d.). Siddhartha then determined, after witnessing sick and distress among townspeople he expressed a desire to help them. He ventured out one day and observed a meditator in deep thought and realized that was his calling; that the fulfillment that he longed, came from within (Diamond Way, 2018).

Jesus made people change their beliefs and follow the positive ways of life. He supported those who were weak in their spiritual life and redeemed them from their sins.
Much of what we know of Buddha was passed down for generations though word of mouth and teachings, which were probably not written until long after his death (Fisher). Buddha like many other religious figures was born without human intercourse and was born into a very wealthy family and lived a life of luxury. He went on to marry and have a son, Buddha’s life changed however when he saw “the four sights” a sick man, an old man, a dead man, and finally a man seeking lasting happiness. The later inspired Buddha to leave his luxurious life behind and seek total liberation also known as nirvana. After traveling for many years and depriving himself from all wants and many needs including food for long periods of time, Buddha had what is known as the awakening. While meditating under a tree he saw all of his past lives and how good and bad deeds can effective future lives (Fisher). Jesus served as example for all of humanity. His life work was to solve the fundamental problem of humanities sin and to provide eternal life with the Father. Jesus Christ demonstrated the way humans should live. He modeled behavior to the poor, the sick, the imprisoned, women, tax collector, to His friends. He came to set the example of the way to live for Christians. Basically, Jesus life was an outline of how to live your own life. Jesus confirmed that you should love your neighbor as yourself. That you should love your God with all your heart, with all your mind and with all your strength. This was demonstrated on a daily bases. Jesus verified that although humans are prone to sin, one can make a choice to not sin. When tempted by Satan, Jesus refrained from sin and turned to God the Father for strength to turn away from the temptation. Jesus was the teacher of complete, true knowledge.
