Sports has seen so many great rivalries Muhammad Ali Joe Frazier's rivalry, Nadal
Federer's rivalry, Nadal Djokovic rivalry but the biggest is Ronaldo Messi rivalry.
These are two players even in their worst of seasons can be the best in the world.
That is evident in the ballon Dor ceremony where one of these two have been winning it for eight years now. While Messi is undoubtedly the best player, Ronaldo has been criticized a lot. That is always the problem with Real Madrid fans when you have a good game you will be appreciated ,but when you have a quiet game you will be booed continously. As a Ronaldo fan,I feel Ronaldo is an underappreciated man especially in Real Madrid. He could have been the greatest of this generation but Messi has overshadowed

Messi had a great talent when he was young. If he nurtured his talent just a little itself, he can become a great player. However, that's not the case with cristiano he was not naturally talented.
So he decides to develop his skill, it's not talent. Talent is natural skill should be developed, what Ronaldo developed was skill and what Messi had was talent. So for skill to match talent is extremely difficult, but Ronaldo made it look ridiculously easy. In fact, he has beaten Messi for three of his ballon doors, which shows that he is a touch above the rest. Now the way Messi and Ronaldo starts was different.Messi was a child prodigy even in his early days and from the very famous La Masia accademy.
Ronaldo started at Sporting Lisbon a team that was not extremely popular. From there to move to Manchester United was an out sanding achievement. When he arrived at Manchester united, he has to fulfill the expectations. To add to this, he was directly given the famous number 7 shirt which means he has to deal with a lot of pressure. To match the

Finally he left Manchester United in the best way as possible winning the ballon dor, winning UEFA champions league and PFA player of the year. Then he moved to Real Madrid for a world record fee of 80 million pounds. So Real Madrid is a team where a player would have to deal with maximum pressure and the way dealt it was a stuff of legends.
Ask Gareth Bale he will tell about the pressure of justifying the transfer fee itself.
But Ronaldo dealt in the coolest way as possible. His incredible Real Madrid scoring record tells about the constant improvement in his game .He is the only player who has better than goal a game ratio for more than 200 matches in La Liga.
His goal scoring exploits not only stopped there, he also has better than goal a game ratio in Champions League also for Real Madrid. But still many people say Ronaldo doesn't dribble anymore and he only scores goals form close ranges which anyone can do.But
Yount has collected two Most Valuabel Player Awards, at two different positions. He received the first one in 1982, perhaps his best season as a professional.
Wayne Gretzky played 1487 games scored 894 goals and assisted on 1963 goals for a total of 2857 points. Lemieux played 915 games scored 690 goals and assisted on 1033 goals for a total of 1723 points. These numbers are elite and some of the best all time in hockey. Although the total numbers may seem to favor Gretzky when points are divided by games played, the average points per game played are similar. Lemieux with 1.88 and Gretzky at 1.92 average points per a game played. A point per game for current players is considered elite. Gretzky had a relatively healthy career missing far fewer games, while Lemieux battled back injuries, Hodgkin's lymphoma, and eventually retired due to an irregular heartbeat. Had Lemieux been healthier and played more games the points per game shows he may have had similar total numbers to Gretzky. The style of power forward Lemieux played could have contributed to the back injury causing him to miss additional time. Yet still amazing numbers for a shortened career beset by injuries and illness. Considering where each player played during their career could affect how greatness is
retire in these next few years. Him as a person, he is a great person no doubt all you hear about
At every level of basketball there are players that have shined on and off the court, this is true for two exceptional players like Michael Jordan and LeBron James. The debate over these two marvelous athletes and who is the better of the two, has divided sports fans since LeBron earned his first Finals Championship.
Kobe Bryant has had quite a substantial effect on the NBA throughout his illustrious career .He came into the league as a renowned high school player and thanks to him being drafted by a big franchise in a big city (Los Angeles Lakers) and having a superstar often compared to superman to mentor him (Shaquille O’Neal) Kobe would eventually evolve into a superstar forever remembered in NBA history due to his prolific scoring, competitive spirit and ability to perform under pressure. There is no denying Kobe’s status as a legend however, simply put, LeBron has achieved as much Kobe did when he was Lebron’s current age (Lebron is six years younger) and he excelled where Kobe failed to succeed. LeBron didn’t have a mentor to back him up, he didn’t have a big market to support him financially, but that didn’t stop him from bringing his mediocre teams and himself to greatness. Kobe may be a fierce competitor however, he achieved this feat at the expense of his teammates respect for him while LeBron on the other hand, is competitive while still being a great teammate. To conclude, due to the fact LeBron paralleled Kobe’s strength and exceeded where Kobe was weak , he is a more impactful player of this era than Kobe Bryant
In order to be successful, failure is inevitable. When one fails, it is essential for them to practice tremendous hours to develop their skills and master their craft. In beginning of the book, Gladwell explains “The emerging picture from such studies is that ten thousand hours of practice is required to achieve the level of mastery associated with being a world-class expert in anything” (40). Messi was certainly not the best player in the world as he made a debut in the spanish league but becoming professional at the age of
Soccer fans all over the world have participated in the debate of who is the best soccer player today. The debate has been narrowed down to two candidate: Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. Both Ronaldo and Messi have many fans around the world. Many say Messi is the best soccer player on the planet, and many say Ronaldo is. Now, they both are really great players, but in my opinion Ronaldo has the slight edge over Messi. Cristiano Ronaldo is better because of his athleticism, his playing in two leagues, his worth, and his success with his country.
Soccer fans are now questioning the recent failures Fc Barcelona has had and are wondering if the club is starting to get weak and go down. Except many don’t know that they have come a long way ever since the club was founded.

Pelé’s first job was a cobbler’s apprentice, which paid just over $2 a month. A cobbler is one who repairs shoes, a skill which Pelé continued to use throughout his soccer career. He would repair his and his teammates shoes because very few soccer teams had people to do it for them. About the time he took that job, he was given the nickname of Pelé. The word, which has no literal translation in Portuguese, was given to him by the boys he used to play soccer with. Pelé didn’t like it at the time, because he thought they were making fun of him. He sometimes got into fights with his friends over it, and asked them to call him Edson, his r...
ho could resurrect their team back to victory. This demonstrates how pointless and futile their lives are and the extent to which football is the basis of their existence. Bruce Dawe has victoriously ridden the foe of any dignity. He has ridiculed the supporters circuitously and shown the reader how we can become so involved in something that we no longer recognize the beauties of nature and life. This in turn encourages the reader to change his or her life and to try and reach a balanced lifestyle.
Currently, FC Barcelona is one of the most elite clubs in the world, and it is almost impossible to imagine a world where FC Barcelona is not considered the gold standard of a soccer team. They may seem unstoppable right now, but in 2003, Barcelona looked like it was about to fall apart.
