Davis Zepeda is ideal for the role of Macbeth based on his previous role in Sortilegio (2009). David Zepeda plays Bruno Albéniz, a man whose ambitions and desires consume him with jealousy, anger, and hatred against his step-brother. He is similar to Macbeth in that they are both greedy for a position that does not belong to them, but they are willing to do anything to get that position. He is willing to do anything to achieve his goals, even if that means having to betray those close to him or removing "obstacles" (rivals) that prevent him from achieving his goals (his main goal is becoming the sole inheritor of his father's wealth and company).

Jorge Salinas is ideal for the role of Duncan based on his previous role in Mi corazón es tuyo (2014). Jorge Salinas plays Fernando Lascuráin, a very successful and influential CEO/father. Tilda Swinton is ideal for the role of Hecate based on her previous role in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005). Tilda Swinton plays Jadis, the White Witch, a character similar to Hecate, the Queen of the witches in Macbeth. Tilda Swinton's character is an "evil witch/dark goddess" with the power to enter other worlds, read minds, and control the minds of animals. Similarly, Hecate can vanish from sight, foresee the future, and call upon apparitions
Some actors in this movie do a good job of portraying their character. However, a few take away from the overall experience, such as Tony Ross and Claudia McNeil. Tony Ross, who is an actor known for Pancho Villa, plays Stacey Logan. Claudia McNeil was an actress known for her role in Raisen in the Sun, and she portrays Big Ma. Both of these
...larly impressive was John Savarese playing the part of the Narrator with an engaging charm and likeability that makes his calculated betrayal of the Girl all the more cruel. There is much room to play El Gallo as an unsympathetic manipulator, but Mr. Savarese finds a way to balance his character's actions with compassion, which makes for some wonderfully poignant moments, especially in the signature tune "Try to Remember."

A quote which really defines Lady Macbeth and Macbeth’s ambition regarding power is “Power does not corrupt men; fools; however, if they get into a position of power, corrupt power” George Bernard Shaw. Lady Macbeth is more ambitious in terms of gaining power then Macbeth is and that Lady Macbeth will do almost anything to gain power, even evil things that she normally wouldn’t do. This is shown when Macbeth and Lady Macbeth learn about the witches’ predictions, then roles in the plans to murder king Duncan in order to gain power and then finally after the murder, Macbeth doesn’t want to finish the plan making Lady Macbeth angry and causing a chance they might get caught and gain no power at all.
Although most of Shakespeare's play " Mac Beth " is not historically accurate, MacBeth's life is the subject of the tragedy. There are characters and events that are based on true events and real persons but, Shakespeare's "MacBeth " differs significantly from history's MacBeth. The first example of a difference between the Shakespeare "MacBeth" and historical Mac Beth is the death of Duncan I. In Shakespeare's " Mac Beth ", Duncan I was murdered by MacBeth.
There was a common saying, “Behind every great man there's a great woman”. The men, Macbeth and Winston Smith in Shakespeare’s Macbeth and George Orwell’s 1984 may not be considered as the “great man” however, both Lady Macbeth and Julia are good examples that can be presented as the “great woman” behind the men. Both Lady Macbeth and Julia do an excellent job of pretending to be someone who they are not, they are not only affecting the men in their lives to rethink their previous position but also have a bad ending accompanied with physical and psychological issues.
Raul Julia plays Oscar Romero the soft spoken priest turned Arch-Bishop. His character goes through a metamorphoses from beginning to end that eventually gets him killed. The one moment in time that really changes the way he acts is the death of Father Grande. Fr. Grande was a preacher to the poor or anyone who wanted to listen to the Word of the Lord.

"(Macbeth,I,vii, )
Macbeth: Shakespeare's Comparisons and Contrasts. Throughout Macbeth Shakespeare uses comparison and contrast to bring out characteristics of his main character, Macbeth. Shakespeare uses comparisons with Duncan, Lady Macbeth, and Banquo to bring out aspects of Macbeth's character. After hearing of Macbeth's courageousness on the battlefield, Duncan, a good and honest king, bestows the title of Cawdor on Macbeth.
text of the play seems to imply that Macbeth is indeed responsible for his own
William Shakespeare’s Macbeth tells the story of a general who commits a regicide in order to become king. Early in the play, Macbeth is conflicted as to whether or not he wants to kill his kinsman, the king. In the first two acts Macbeth is not portrayed as a ruthless killer; he is a sympathetic character who succumbs to the provocation of his wife and a prophecy foretold by three mysterious witches. In contrast, Lady Macbeth is a manipulative, immoral woman.

When they get there they find out that the Thane of Cawdor had sided with the enemy and was killed and that due to his great job in battle Macbeth would be named Thane of Cawdor. In Throne of Blood, Washizu, and Miki, Washizu’s best friend that he later ends up killing, meet an evil spirit weaving silk like a spider. The spider-like spirit is singing a song before Washizu and Miki finally talk to him. The spirit tells Washizu that he will be given a section of the fortress for him to control and protect. The spirit also told him that he would soon become lord of the whole fortress. The spirit also told Miki that he would be assigned a section of the fortress to control and that his son will
In the Throne of Blood, which is a Japanese film adaptation of Macbeth, we see the interaction between the witch and Macbeth. In this adaptation, instead of three witches there is just one witch. The witch is very calm and still in this scene and is constantly spinning a wheel while it talks. Just like the play write, Macbeth is very confused and eager to get his questions answered. Before the witch can answer his questions about his future the witch has disappeared into thin air. Unlike Othello, Macbeth instantly is convinced of his future and soon thereafter, with more convincing from his wife, he feels it necessary to kill both Duncan and
