The beloved hero Iron Man has gotten everyone worked up over the satisfying sequel to the original Iron Man. Iron Man created a fan base audience making over $318 million in the box office. Iron Man being the hero to many above Superman, Batman, or even Captain America has created a worldwide fan base. The director, Jon Favreau did a fantastic job with the first Iron Man movie, and he is now back to direct the sequel. Some positives about the movie are that the visual effects were on point. There were some parts where it seemed like they had rushed some of the visual effects, but for the most part they worked out really well. The action in this movie was better meaning the content was better, but quantitatively it was very limited and weak. …show more content…
There are many actors and actresses that help bring this notorious movie to life. Robert Downey Jr. also known as Iron Man himself plays the perfect role as an iconic hero in which he owned in the previous movie. They play more of his annoying and personal side in this movie. He has many issues including internal issues that are only known by the audience. Gwyneth Paltrow, plays as Pepper Potts as Stark’s go to woman. Pepper was a small role in the first movie, but now she has more lines. She runs the Stark Industry for Tony while he does the inventing and the crime fighting. Pepper isn’t just a character, she is part of Tony Stark and without her, he would be lost in his company. Scarlett Johansson, a gorgeous woman plays her part as Black Widow which is part of the Avengers series. Even the director himself is in the movie as an assistant to Tony Stark. His role is to be Tony’s bodyguard which is ironic because Tony does not need a bodyguard because he is freaking Iron Man. The antagonist in this movie is played by Mickey Rourke. Marvel has done a wonderful job with their movies from Spiderman to the Avengers therefore this movie was bound to be great from the …show more content…
They pulled in Black Widow, and Nick Fury to be in a short duration of the movie. They gave insight about the group known as “S.H.I.E.L.D.” Many may argue that this movie was used to set up for the Avengers and future Iron Man sequels. This movie fits in the grander Marvel films because there are subplots where two main Avengers characters are portrayed in the Iron Man 2 film. If you are not involved or understand some concept of the Avenger’s, you will be confused as to why these characters are in the movie. Also if you stay until the end of the credits like most other sequel movies, there is a little Easter egg for Marvel
Some actors in this movie do a good job of portraying their character. However, a few take away from the overall experience, such as Tony Ross and Claudia McNeil. Tony Ross, who is an actor known for Pancho Villa, plays Stacey Logan. Claudia McNeil was an actress known for her role in Raisen in the Sun, and she portrays Big Ma. Both of these
Her character must have been in an act for much of the film, but everyone she plays just comes across as icy and detached. The supporting players do well, though, specifically the two villains. James Mason is fantastic as Phillip Vandamm, the chief antagonist. He brings the perfect amount of collected cool to the role, but also adds a touch of menace to the character. Martin Landau, in an early role, also does well as Leonard, Vandamm’s right-hand man.
Making the suit is much easier than fighting Mandarin. Iron Man gets more skill by wearing the suit and learning how to use the suit. Iron Man’s greatest fear is the bits of shrapnel in his chest. Iron Man’s Abyss is when his suit is taken over. Iron Man’s revelation is when he develops a serious dependency of alcohol. At the beginning of his journey in the suit he is a bit cocky as well. “You’re not a man, you’re nothing- more than a manic. I’m not afraid of you, no politics here, just good old fashion revenge” (tony stark, google). Iron Man is wiser because he realized that you should never give up. His imbalance is fixed by making the suit and saving his life and the people around him. “I had my- eyes opened. I came to realize that i had more to offer this world than just making thing blow up” (tony stark, google). His injustice is fixed by making the suit. Iron Man’s gift is he gets his suit.
In the movie Iron Man, dialogue is often used and for the most part very distinctive. Tony Stark often partakes in dialogue with Yinsen, his fellow prison mate when he was taken hostage at the beginning of the film. Also, Stark is often in dialogue with Pepper, his assistant and love interest, his friend Lieutenant Colonel James Rhodes, and his business partner and later arch foe, Obadiah Stane.
The acting in this film is extraordinary. Bruce Willis plays a character that normally he would never play, which is what makes this film so unique. Willis' wonderful acting can be seen

Being the most commended and successful China-US co-production in the history of film, Iron Man 3 has proven itself to be a benchmark for international co-productions. There are a few pointers that Singapore producers can learn from through this collaboration.
The original film has a lot of things going for it. It has a lot of comedic heavyweights in it, like Ted Knight, Bill Murray, Rodney Dangerfield, Brian Doyle-Murray, and Chevy Chase. The film is a winner with all of its quotable dialogue, great characters, and slapstick humor. In the sequel, only Chevy Chase returned after a lot of pushing on the studio 's part. It was a needless sequel that should not have been made.
effect it had on the me was that it looked a fairly good film, but not
Mostly is the good kind though, normally reserved for B Films. Clancy Brown being the actor most obviously having the most fun with his role. But the majority of cast is incredibly solid, except for Edward Furlong and Jared Rushton. Jared Rushton suffers mostly for just having a one dimension character, a bully for bullying's sake. So I have a hard time faulting him, but
... of The Amazing Spider-man 2 would say that this film has a number of defects. There are Gwen’s death, unsatisfactory ending, and even insufficient storylines. I should agree that this film needs more efforts on the detail parts. However, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was abundant and technically magnificent production for me, in many ways. As I mentioned above, Gwen’s death part gave the audiences many meanings to think about heroic movies critically, and the actors’ movements were fantastic enough. The computer-generated special effects of this film director were spectacularly real when Spider-Man dangled from a tower shelf or swings through New York City. I could feel excessive joy, and Additionally, the scene where Electro appeared Times Square was masterful in drawing the audiences’ attention as well. I hope to watch the next movie as a big fan of the Spider-man.
Overall, the Ant-Man did well. Although not as good as compared to other Marvel Movies in terms of ticket sales, it performed at par in serving as a good breather for those who wanted to escape reality. It did well for those who wanted to reprise their childhood and have a good
Wakanda in my opinion is very similar to Stark enterprise with its advanced technology and its reliance on said technology. Watching this movie was such an enriching experience because I am not too familiar with the Marvel universe but I feel like this movie has shed some light. Not knowing much about black panther I was worried about seeing the movie and needing to have some sort of history with it. This was not the case however, the movie is portrayed in the way that anyone can understand it.
THE AVENGERS. The movie was released in 2012. Directed by Joss Whedon and casts included were Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Robert Downey Jr. With IMDB rating of 8.1. The movie had won in Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films, USA last 2013 for Best Science Fiction Film, Best Supporting Actor, Best Director and Best Special
With his one of a kind armor suits, quirky characteristics and beyond extreme superpowers, Iron Man is by far one of the supreme Marvel superheroes. While most superheroes are commonly known for simply ‘saving the day’, Iron Man goes above and beyond. His sarcastic attitude and witty comments are hilarious and bring a sense of humor to viewers and fans, showcasing that he is so much more than your typical superhero. Iron Man is simply incomparable and his superiority and even more intelligent mind are just additional examples for his greatness. He is looked upon as a leader to others and has saved the planet more than enough times as proof of his hard work. Even without the suit, Tony proves to be a superhero with his worthy and kind intentions. Long live the legacy of an incredible man, and superhero!
