Ho Chi Minh and Rosa Luxemburg were leaders who both envisioned a social transformation in order to combat oppression and exploitation. Ho Chi Minh and Luxemburg do not share common experiences, however they are connected through their call to action. They are dedicated individuals who are willing to commit their lives to what is right for society. While Luxemburg focuses on women suffrage, Ho Chi Minh deals with an anticolonial fight against French imperialism in Indochina. Anti-imperialism and revolution are two similar key themes that are emphasized by both Rosa Luxemburg and Ho Chi Minh; however, the approach differs due to their differences in identity and background. This statement is very powerful, Minh is emphasizing the severe suffering that the French Imperialists have brought upon the Vietnamese people. He continues to show how important it is to take action since World War Two will drive the Vietnamese people to an even more horrible slaughter. Ho Chi Minh’s identity is very evident when analyzing his speech. He cares deeply for his fellow countrymen and will do anything in his power to confront injustice. Throughout his speech he displays his true identity and immense care he has for his Vietnamese people, through his anger and actions. His anger at the injustices that were inflicted upon his people was shown through his determination to fight for their rights and dignity. “The Indochinese Communist Party has been founded.It will help the proletariat lead the revolution waged for the sake of all oppressed and exploited people. From now on we must join the Party, help it and follow it in order to implement the following slogans” (Minh 2). This quote signifies the unity Minh inspires upon his people.
