Thor Ragnarok takes place a little while after the events of Thor The Dark World and further goes into the adventures of Thor and Loki. This movie takes a whole new spin to the franchise. The past two Thor movies were more classic super hero action movies, but this this one can be more accurately described as a comedy with action scenes. I believe that this is actually a great move as it really gives this series of movies its own feeling or vibe. Previous Marvel movies and especially the Avengers movies, have come off as generic or upholding to a very cookie cutter super hero movie formula, but Thor Ragnarok is much more colorful and humorous than any other Marvel movie to date. This is similar to when Captain America Winter Soldier took on a more espionage, James Bond style that made it unique amongst all the other action hero films. Both Captain America Winter Soldier and Thor Ragnarok have done better than their predecessors within their film franchises and I …show more content…
Deadpool was also well recieved for breaking the mold and being a comedy, but I personally thought the humor was a bit too immature . Right off the bat, the movie is very bright and vibrant especially on Planet Hulk. It sets the tone that this movie will be positive and happy. The alien world of Planet Hulk is unique and really let the characters and architecture to be wild and wacky so jokes could be just as crazy. The actors also bring great chemistry and their humor seems dynamic and real rather than scripted. Jeff Goldblum can be hit or miss in his movies, but here, he does a great job and brings a quirky and hilarious character to the screen. Hulk and his two alter egos are explored more and their polarizing dynamic really makes for some of the most funny moments. The most surprising performance of all is Kevin Richardson has Korg who is distinctly the main comic relief which is no easy task in a comedy
Overall I think that the show was worth seeing, even though I let my parents pick the film--which I will never do again by the way-- I think that it was a good production. It was a little boring at first, which might have just been because I didn’t really want to see it in the first place, but the storyline was pretty good. I personally like humor, so I tend to pick shows that I know will have some humor, but I’m proud of myself for seeing something outside of my comfort zone.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is full of elusive, charismatic and heroic characters. Marvel has grossed billions of dollars in making family friendly movies for all to enjoy, However, a year ago, production for Marvel's most adult, foul mouthed superhero changed that. Deadpool is perhaps one of the most advertised movies to date, drawing the attention of everyone around the world, even those who essentially don't know who the hero is. Deadpool has become more and more prominent in the MCU as of late, due to a steady stream of social media ads that increase the characters fanbase. Deadpool himself didn't catch the attention of moviegoers,
Some of the differences between what the film maker uses compared to the supplemental work can be very obvious when watching the film. When looking at the supplemental work, or original creation of the character Thor, in the film he is seen to be a fascinating hero and creates a lot of action in the film. While the actual story has all the jargon that some may not understand. The film creator has left out of the actual film. The reason he may have left all the real detail out of the film was because many viewers may not have understood what the film was actually trying to say. The film maker got a good portion of the movie right. For example, in the film, many of the heroes are seen to be very large, and in Norse Mythology, it states that a hero like Thor was seen to be a Viking. The film maker also pointed out many other scenarios that were read in the supplemental work such as his hammer. Thor was the only one who could lift
The 2011 movie, Captain America, is an action-packed, inspiring story about a weak boy who transforms into a powerful superhero. Although I have previously watched this movie, I noticed many new aspects to it. Ethos, pathos and logos are embedded deep within this film showing that Captain America is an American hero.
Cast is important, but a good plot is crucial in the success of a film. So many movies have had great marketing and bombed because the plot was not good. I hate when I go to see a movie and the plot is not interesting. If I pay money for a movie, I want it to be worth it. In a comedy, I look for, a lot of, laughs. That is exactly what this movie gave me, it had it all. They had midgets, catching wives in bed with preachers and anything else you could look for to make you laugh. To fulfill this requirement on my movie list is very important. This movie did just that and exceeded the expectations I had for it.
Originally Deadpool was a supervillain created by Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza for a comic called ‘The new mutants’. He started as supervillain but as he kept appearing in comics he became known for his antiheroic persona and his humorous tendency to brake the fourth wall. He has the superhuman ability of healing powers and strength. In 2016 Deadpool was brought to life in the characters own film which was directed by Tim Miller and was written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. It stars A-list actor Ryan Reynolds who plays Deadpool, the film was rated a 15 due to its violent content but has still become the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time.
Answer: Deadpool was released at the beginning of the year 2016 and was a blockbuster hit breaking many records worldwide and making $745.7 million dollars at the box office. It was loved by all because it broke all stereotypic barriers of the comic and superhero world and brought a whole new concept of heroism and villains to the cinema with a tiny budget. The movie's protagonist is a mercenary named Wade Wilson who was a former Special Forces operative. His ordinary old life takes a U-turn when Ajax( a crazy scientist) turns him into an ugly version of himself called Deadpool; having super-fast healing powers and a twisted sense of humor which are pivotal and shines through the otherwise dull plot of the film. The film also breaks another stereotypical barrier by introducing a female love interest of Deadpool.
During those ages when we are just a little kid, we dreamt to be a superhero that could protect the world from being attacked or destroyed by enemies. We always worship to the superheroes that we liked when we watch the superheroes movies. Not only that, we also even act as them by using a scarf, tie on our necks and crazy around with our friends. Recently, I adored with two kinds of superhero movies after I watched them. Those movies are The Kick-Ass 2 and The X-Men 2 which mainly attract teenager’s attention nowadays when they plan to watch a movie. However, there are many differences between these two superheroes movie that we could see from their abilities, costume, and even their operation when they fight criminal.
Marvel has been releasing blockbuster after blockbuster for over the last decade. Marvel movies have action, a great story line, and even some comedy. Some of my favorite movies that Marvel has released are: the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and the Amazing Spiderman. DC movies, on the other hand, are awful and boring. Most of them don’t have a story line, they’re slow in telling the superheros story, and they aren’t based off the comics. Some disappointing DC movies that I thought would be great but weren’t: Green Lantern, Man of Steel, and the Dark Knight Rises. While the future of Marvel movies are looking bright (Dr. Strange, Captain America 3), the DC movies will probably crash and burn (Batman vs Superman, Suicide
Mixed reviews on the Internet, big cast, multi-angled story, to me it sounded like a few other movies that have treaded the same ground but still very interesting. The talents of Paul Haggis and the exciting casting of Don Cheadle, Sandra Bullock, Matt Dillon, et al, attracted me to this movie and I am thankful that I ignored what the critics have said.
Deadpool was directed by Tim Miller who may be known by many people as being a good director. This may attract people into watching the movie. It was wrote by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Ryan Reynolds was the main star in it (Deadpool). It was released to cinemas on the 10th February 2016. The rating of Deadpool is 15. Deadpool has been a very successful superhero movie
The movie Deadpool is written by Paul Whitreck and directed by Tim Miller. The movie is about a man named Wade Wilson who underwent an experiment to help cure his cancer. In doing so the experiment went wrong and he gained accelerating healing powers which messed his face up. However he received his name from a scene early in the movie when he was in the bar. The movie went back in forth as far as memories but Wade wilson named himself Deadpool based on how he looked and the condition he was in. He gains new abilities and is on a search for the person that nearly killed him during the experiment. The movie is a reintegration of the comic books by marvel of this alter ego killer, not your typical friendly superhero. Deadpool is one of my favorite movies because of the level of action/violence, the sound effects/special effect and the good acting in the movie.
Birdman, the movie is different from other films I have seen because Riggan Thomson who is played by Michael Keaton is not the perfect man. A lot of the times, what I see when I watch a movie is that somehow the protagonist has a list of amazing qualities like courage, wits and humor. In reality, however, the majority of people are not perfect like not and perhaps a lot more like Thomson, a person with anger issues, career oriented and neglectful. The amount of details in each character made them real, and this is one reason why I think contributed to the success of Birdman. The film was also surreal in the sense that someone like Thomson can actually be a superhero and possess paranormal powers like telekinesis and levitation.
Eli Pariser, an internet activist, introduced the term filter bubble in 2011. Filter bubbles are a form of intellectual isolation that occurs when websites use algorithms to selectively assume what the user wants to see. The website then delivers the content according to collected user activity including, user’s former click behavior, browser history, search history, and location. As a result, websites are more likely to present only the information that coincides with the user’s activities and opinions. Filter bubbles, therefore, can significantly alter a user’s interactions with other users whose viewpoints differ, and; subsequently, leads a user to become intellectually isolated.
Among the highest-grossing movies of all time are numerous landmark films, such as Titanic, Avatar, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Taking their place alongside these cultural touchstones are mammoth blockbusters of a new breed: action-packed superhero epics. Each year, the number of superhero movies due for release seems to grow exponentially. One glance at a list of upcoming movies for this year reveals that the box office is absolutely saturated with superhero films. Some highly-anticipated installments feature heroes already well-acquainted with the big screen, such as Captain America and the X-Men, while others are introducing relatively unfamiliar characters to contemporary movie-going audiences, as in the cases of Doctor Strange and
