“The Westing Game”, a story of people that had to solve the mystery of who killed Sam Westing. “The Westing Game” is a story by Ellen Raskin. This story was made into a movie 2003. “ The Westing Game” book and movie contain many similarities and differences that are worth exploring.
The Westing Game is about an old billionaire, named Sam Westing. He looks for an heir to inherit his fortune. The pairs of heirs were given a set of clues. Sam Westing was not really dead but playing three other roles. Turtle Wexler solves the mystery. The Westing Game book and movie have many similarities and differences.
There are many similarities and differences between the story “The Most Dangerous Game” and the episode of Gilligan's Island that we watched. Some similarities include: someone is being hunted, the setting is similar, and both victims get away in the end. Some differences include: the moods of the stories, the strategies that are used by the huntees, and how the hunter got to the island.
Throughout the years, there have been many different texts and while some of them can be very similar or focus on the same topic, no text is truly the same as another. When Rainsford realizes what Zaroff hunts in his island he must leave as soon as possible. Zaroff tells Rainsford he could either hunt with him or against him.
As the reader follows the novel and reads deeper into the book, they find that the conflict is person vs. person, or the game itself, with the heirs trying to win the game. Sam "Windy", which was a fakes his death as self-made millionaire; a realtor Barney Northrup; as Sunset Towers doorman Sandy McSouthers; as Julian Eastman which run the Westing Paper Products Corporation as its newly-elected chairman. Finally, he unties his family all together, finish his goal. It’s a happen ending.

The novels Ender's Game and Fahrenheit 451 take place in the future; the futures that the authors' have created are troubled and the world is approaching a disastrous end. Initially, Colonel Graff invites Ender to Battle School and tells him how important it is that he participates in the war. " 'The buggers may seem like a game to you now, Ender, but they damn near wiped us out last time. They had us cold, outnumbered and outweaponed. If the military could get another commander like Mazer Rackham, then the future would be brighter; Ender Wiggins trains to be the next Mazer Rackham. In Fahrenheit 451, people wanting to be entertained all the time causes the future to be mind numbing, bleak, and burnt. "The sun burnt every day. It burnt Time. The world rushed in a circle and turned on its axis and time was busy burning the years and the people anyway, without any help from him. So if he burnt things with the firemen and the sun burnt Time, that meant that everything burnt!" (p. 141)

The whole concept of money blinds the heirs from what is actually happening in the real world. In the Westing Game, Ellen Raski uses money to act as a power to show how strong the value of emotional power is and how we get caught up in artificial power searching for emotional power.
The differences between the movie and story of Call of the Wild are in the beginning of the movie John Thornton goes and visits Buck before Perrault comes and buys him. In the story John doesn’t come in the beginning Buck is just bought and sent to the Klondike. The men in the story walked up to the Klondike with supplies and horses and in the movie, it doesn't say how they got up there. While the men are going to the Klondike there is a dog in a cage barking who looked like Buck and John kept hearing him but didn’t know who it was coming from. On their way to the Klondike John sees a bloody horse where a guy has beaten him and John had to put him out of his misery. John Thornton also meets a new friend Charlie and they build a cabin together.
