The great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald is a popular book that was published in the early 1900s. An adaptation of the book by the same name was released in 2013 and directed by Baz luhrmann. The book and film are both relatively the same with a few minor differences. The story follows a young wealthy man named Jay Gatsby, who is deeply in love with a woman named Daisy Buchanan. His real name is James Gatsby and initially was a very poor man, he had told Daisy to be patient for him, as he was determined to become rich so that he can provide her with whatever she wanted in life. This is the basis of the story that continues to develope, adding new characters along the way who all play a vital role in the conclusion of the film.

A Stylistic technique the writer/ director of the Great Gatsby used to deliver this biased opinion is by having Nick narrate about what gatsby had said and done, twisting the words to trick the reader i into thinking that Gatsby is the good guy.

Jay Gatsby is very popular, with people loving the amazing parties that he throws for everyone. It is big talk amongst the community, including gossip about Gatsby. Some discussing about what they believed he had done to accumulate so much wealth and fame and the reasons why no one has ever met him. However few people remark about how much money he actually has, rather they interpret his wealth based on his house to assume how rich he is.
Prior to Jay Gatsby wealth, he had wanted Daisy to wait for him to return from the war. Once gone, he was negatively thinking how he wasn't good enough for her due to how poor he was. His main mission then became to make himself wealthy and for her to be able to recognize him for the rich man he had become.
