Culture and lifestyle can be various from country to country due to people's different background and habit, especially for countries that their geographic location are placed in different region. Taiwan and the United States are one of the examples that contain a lot more differences than similarities. As an international student from Taiwan studying in the United States, I would like to point out some big contrast between these two countries. From the geographic aspect, Taiwan is located in East Asia and the United States is in North America. When you first look at the map of Taiwan and the US, the first thing you will notice is the size. In fact, the U.S is approximately 273 times bigger than Taiwan, which means Taiwan is even smaller
