Men Vs Women The male and female brain operate in different manners causing them to have various similarities and differences. Both sex are trained at birth to perform and carry out certain task based on gender. Men and women brains are the same, but each gender uses the brain in different ways. Men usually use their left side more whereas in women often use their right side. The story was about his girlfriend Mira that made him realize that they were nothing alike. After a few months into the relationship they grew apart because of their parenting differences. Their son Mike who was very disrespectful, was also out of control. Whenever Mike got in trouble Justin would give him a spanking to teach him a lesson. Whereas Mira would only give him a warning every time he did something bad. They also had a daughter named Ashley. Ashley was also a troublemaker, so when she got in trouble Justin would just let it go. Mira would fuss her out and take all her toys. There was a difference they shared in not being able to agree in difficult situations. When Justin felt everything was right his soul mate thought differently of course. However, in many cases Mira always had an excuse or solution to problems they shared. She believed that women mature faster than males. Gender differences are influences on gender behavior in the way that one must fit through the assumptions and inevitable confusion to distinguish the reality of the assumption. Men and women are obviously different inherently, but not in what they can and cannot do. Men and women are different and have different roles because this is society presented them to the world. Women have the most difficulty getting through these complicated times. There should be equality among all men and women of all races and ethnicity. This is a never-ending issue. We as a society should always know and act on the importance of gender roles, gender equality, and challenges with education in developed and developing countries.
Children learn gender roles based on parental socialization, meaning what is talked about by society and what is culturally accepted. They learn based on what they watch or what they hear and see from their family, friends, and school. The children learn that women are nurturing and expressive while men are strong and independent. Women are seen as the primary caregiver of their children, whether they are work or not. Men were taught to be superior to women since the dawn of time, whereas females were looked down upon. Ruled by patriarchy, it was hard for most of these women to do more than just be a stay at home wife. In some of the stories we have read, the women were portrayed as submissive, obedient, with no voice. Women have struggled to break out of this mold and find a voice for themselves. However, some managed to break out of these expectations and standards. Women and men have had to fulfill different set standards before anyone had stepped foot outside the womb. For both genders those standards came with different expectations.

Men tend to hold administrative positions, while women usually have the positions that support the administrator. They are the secretaries and assistants that do the work for their male bosses and prepare things for them that later on only the administrator may receive credit for. Due to ability to work from home, woman have accepted a modern role of holding a career as well as raising a family and men are seen working and helping out with regular house hold chores. People are beginning to conform to are less traditional view, but in my personal experience woman still hold a more traditional role and men are still the primary providers for a family. Our society’s culture has established a set of unwritten cultural laws of how each gender should act, or in other words society has ascribed a stereotype. Men’s gender identity has been one of masculinity, and masculinity is defined as referring to a man or things described as manly. What does manly mean though? Is a male manly if he is “Mr. Fix-it”, or the jock, or if he sits on the couch on Sunday watching football?
