For example, applications such as Infinity Blade, Dark Sky, and Camera+ are exclusive to iPhone. Another aspect of the iPhone’s software that is superior to Android is its electronic payment system. While Android users have to decide whether to use Samsung Pay, Android Pay, or LG Pay, Apple users will always be able to use one electronic payment system. This displays the continuity involved when using an iPhone as there is no need to constantly transfer information and media. Additionally, Apple’s fingerprint recognition software called Touch ID is more accurate than Android’s software. Also iPhones will receive updates immediately after they are released and can be downloaded quickly. However, even flagship Android phones may take months to receive updates and some do not even ship with the latest software. Certainly, Android is superior to Apple when it comes to hardware. However, no one needs laptop-esque hardware running on a smartphone. More substantial tasks are done on desktops and laptops rather than a smartphone. Admittedly, Android phones have removable memory, allowing users to expand upon the storage of their phones. This is certainly a beneficial feature, but no user is going to topple the 128 gigabytes of storage available on the iPhone. Therefore, while expanded memory may be a benefit for Android users, iPhone users will not miss out on the feature if they purchase an iPhone with a large amount of storage. Therefore, while a case can be made that Android phones are superior to iPhones, Apple’s superiority in software, user experience, and design outweigh the few benefits of having an Android

When it comes to smart phone market share in the United States, Apple still trails Android by almost 10%. Apples market has increased by 4% almost every year, while Samsung has been dropping by 4% almost every year. Although Apple is doing a bit better than Samsung overall, Samsung is still topping Apple with their Android. A reason I feel Samsung is doing much greater then apple right now is their ability to have all these different features, which not only add modern things to their phone but also longevity. With the three new water proof phones that Samsung has come out with Apple has yet to release their first

I conclude it by saying that the few main things that attracted people to go for a mobile phone were the operating system, like android being the most user friendly and not forgetting iOS and many more, secondly the capacitive touch screens and the width of the screens like sometimes the user interface is built around the device's multi-touch screen, including a virtual keyboard, WiFi connectivity and cellular connectivity like 3G,4G, etc, phones with higher resolution mainly known as "retina display", the camera specifications and most importantly the look which is also given a higher priority often.

This essay will compare the elements of Generation Y and Generation X with communication and the uses of technology such as mobile phones. Technology has changed rapidly during the time of Generation X, In other words, the 1960s -1980s.

There has been many arguments on the topic of technology making us “dumb,” whereas; many arguments stating that technology and the accessories it has produced, has made us more intellectual.
