Have you ever wondered if being an introvert or an extrovert actually has an affect on how your life will turn out? Although the difference between being introverted and extroverted is somewhat ambiguous, most experts on human behavior agree that it is mainly determined through the source in which one obtains his or her energy. The scientists were eager to conduct more research related to this concept in order to find a possible correlation between personality traits and one’s biological fitness and quantifiable success.

With the scientists background knowledge of niches and genetics, two hypotheses were formed. Hypothesis # 1: If a person is an extrovert then they will have a higher biological fitness than an introvert because they will have less difficulty finding a partner. Hypothesis #2: If a person is an introvert, then they will be more successful (in terms of money) because they will show more focus in their work environments.
The scientists were extremely intrigued by this topic. The terms introvert and extrovert are used often, and people love to affiliate themselves identifying with one or the other. However, what many people are unaware of is that the actual definition of being an introvert or an extrovert is how one obtains their energy. The scientists had the conventional wisdom that more outgoing and sociable people would people would be more likely to have a bigger family. But it was necessary to research further and take a poll in order to reach a more accurate conclusion. Obtaining this information could be beneficial to many lives.
