In today’s society, there are a wide variety of music genres. Some include, but are not limited to: country, oldies, hard rock, soft rock, pop, heavy metal, etc. Although these are some wonderful, and not so wonderful, music genres, there are two that will stand out for today, which will be Rap and gospel. These two types of genres are very powerful, from their lyrics, to the beat, finishing with emotions. The pros and cons of these music fields, would make a person think, but in two completely different ways. One, should they be listening to this. Secondly, how would I be feeling after I listen to this. Both of Gospel and Rap have a meaning behind their songs. The music will make a person feel a type of way. Before someone listen to these genres, they may be feeling down, maybe depressed, even may be mourning the loss of a love one.
