Every country has a leader. Without a leader countries would be chaotic. Also the army wouldn’t have any direction. Two leaders in World War 2, named Franklin D Roosevelt and Adolf Hitler have led their countries to greatness when they were elected. They have both some similarities, and differences. How they both cured depression, how they both were persuasive. Then there are the differences. Although Roosevelt and Hitler would never come face to face in their lifetime. They both ran their countries nearly the same, but not quite.
Roosevelt and Hitler of course would have differences. Roosevelt was a president while Hitler is a dictator. A president believes in equality while dictators believe in hierarchy. Presidents believes that anyone should have free thought when as dictators suppresses free thought and action. Also Roosevelt's army had a much less experience and were very weak while Hitler’s strong Nazi army had more experience (Gilderlehrman.org). Roosevelt’s childhood was much more nice while Hitler's childhood was a tough time for him.

Roosevelt would keep out of trouble by attending Harvard. While Hitler would get into trouble by getting arrested for treason after gathering 3,000 people known as the "Beer Hall Putsch."
