The stores weren’t able to persuade people to buy any goods. Target and Walmart have stayed in business because of the way the stores show the goods. These stores show off the goods in the store, in a different way. An example of a good that the stores sell in a different way would be shoes. The stores show a different color, different look, and a different location of where the shoes are. As the customers of Walmart walk into the store they are surrounded by the colors of blue and yellow. The University of British Columbia did a study on what the color blue does to the brain.
