The attacks on 9/11 are similar to the 1993 bombing at the world trade center because both were terrorist attacks and both were on the world trade center.
The 9/11 attack was terrorist because bush said in his speech "Terrorist attack can shake the foundation of out biggest building but they cannot touch the foundation of America. These acts shatter steel, but they cannot dent the steel of the American Resolve". This says that the attack was terrorist.
The 1993 bombing was a terrorist act because the FBI wrote "As a small band of terrorists scurried away from the scene unnoticed, the FBI and its partners on the New York Joint Terrorism Task Force began staffing up a command center and preparing to send in a team to investigate". This quote

proves that the bombing was made by a group of terrorists.
The 9/11 attack was at the World Trade Center because wikipedia says "Two of the planes, American Airlines flight 11 and United Airlines flight 175 were crashed into the North and South towers of the World Trade Center complex in New York City". This says that there were two attacks on the North and South tower.
The 1993 bombing was at the World Trade Center because the FBI said "The epicenter was the parking garage beneath the World Trade Center, where a massive eruption carved out a nearly 100-foot crater several stories deep and several more high". This proves that the explosion was at a world trade center garage below the North tower.
All of this says that it was a act of terrorism and was at the World Trade Center.
