School lunch is one of the better parts of school, you get to spend a half hour with your friend and eat food. What’s better than that? Some of the people at the table we used during lunch was Derick, James and me. We had lunch every day from 12:21 to 12:51. All four of us had the same class after lunch, which was physics. James being the smart one he said, “Did we have any physics homework that was due today?” We all looked at James with confused faces. Derick said, “when I passed his classroom on the way to lunch I didn’t see anything on the whiteboard.” We all started to argue on who was right and who was wrong and who was right. I started to go on my phone to look at the class to see what was due. I said in a concerning voice “Yes we did.” We all ate the rest of our food fast. We had 15 minutes to do ten questions. We all divided the question equally between us. We got work on the questions. The bell was getting closer. We all scrambled to share each other’s work before the bell rang, but it was too late. We rushed to class to try to get an extra few minutes by ourselves, but those minutes came and went.
When I got up to look at everyone in the class I noticed that most people in the room

Newton’s famous lay.”
I closed my book with two unfinished problems. At this time, I didn’t know if my friends finished or not. After about five minutes went by I thought “well maybe he forgot to ask for the homework.” I wasn’t going to say anything because I don’t want to be that person.
Class had come and went and the teacher started to go over the homework I noticed he was going over the work my friends and I just did at lunch. The teacher said, “I already posted it online.” All my friends and I just realized he posted while we were at lunch.
We had a few minutes before the bell rang and we all like this sucks, but at the same time we were all like I guess we have very little homework for tonight. The bell rang and we went on our own
The students have been split up into pairs to complete an ill-defined problem that requires them to create, test, and conclude a hypothesis based on previous lessons throughout the school year. Jolene and Logan are partners for the project. On the second work day offered to the students, the two students begin to argue about their hypothesis. Jolene yells at Logan, “stop, you do not know what you are doing, just let me do it!” As a reaction, Logan pushes all of Jolenes papers into the sink with the water on. What do you
I don't think our school lunch is healthy because it has fat and too much sodium. Although it is good it is fattening it is the reason for much of the obesity in the U.S. Many kids have no other option to eat the unhealthy school lunches or they will be hungry.
Clarice and I decided that we were going to do our assignment on Hialeah campus on a Friday morning. The building from Hialeah campus has four floors an it gets really busy when students get out of class to go their next class. We first, when to the elevator and practice when it was not busy, we analyzed where we were going to stand when people come the elevator one of us was going to be in the corner and the other one in from of the door facing the people. I decided to go first, we both got out of the elevator in the first floor, we waited for people to star coming to the elevator. Two girls come to wait for the elevator. I told Clarice to get phone ready that we were going with these two girls, we waited also for the elevator, the elevator come the doors open Clarice enter the elevator first pretending she was texting she when to the corner with the
One of the kids did not understand how turn on the stove and the stove top. Another kid taught the others how to season the food. Another kid thought that they should try to make something for the teachers in the gym. They worked together to make a cheeseburger and pizza. When they went to get the food out of the stove, on kid told them that they need something to grab it because it would be hot. They took it to the teachers to eat along with a drink. When they brought it to me, they warned me that it was hot, then they waited for me to eat the food. One of the kids told that the food would cool off if I blew on it. After I pretended to eat it, they asked me what I thought of the food. They continued, by asking me if it was too spicy or
Lunch is one of the most important meals of the day and is consumed mostly in school cafeterias for children and adolescence. Wholesome lunches are vital in maintaining a healthy metabolism and give children energy for the rest of the school day. Children are advised to eat healthily but do not always do so because the choices of tastier, fatty foods offered in school cafeterias. The National School Lunch Program, NSLP, which is a federally assisted meal program operating in public and nonprofit private schools set nutritious guidelines for lunches served in school cafeterias (USDA). However, school campuses still offer foods high in fat as well as selling candy, chips, and soda in their vending machines, as well as their school shops. In order
This particular class period consisted of around 3 students, but one student was working particularly just by himself with his teachers aid. Even before it started Ms.Metcalf classroom energy felt a bit off, and come to find out that during lunch one of the students had been teasing the other student. The student that had also been causing trouble had out of nowhere stolen paper clips off of Ms.Metcalf. The other student was not able to stay on task, because he still felt upset from the incident that occurred during lunch. This soon became more of a discipline class rather than the student learning about math, and apparently the "bully" had created pointer with the paper clips that could have actually hurt someone. Soon after Ms. Metcalf had to call the assistant principles to step in to discipline the student, and lost a entire day of instructions due to one student misbehavior. After the misbehaving student had left she went over to the emotional distraught student and began discussing that he should never let people 's words if they weren 't nice and that entire lesson became a lesson on
Ever have to choose what students want for lunch? Is it healthy or unhealthy? Schools need to realize that not many students eat as it is, and changing the school menus is only going to increase the amount of students not wanting to eat school lunch. Changing the school menu would make students skip school and go get fast food, and then get in trouble for skipping. Starvation would become a big role in the school. For kids that have a lot of money to eat out. So, yes changing the menu can be a bad idea for the school and the students.
When the time was up to stop writing, I looked around the classroom and noticed some of the students appeared a bit confused. The assignment was not a difficult one, not for me anyway. When the teacher began asking students to share what they had written with the class, it was interesting to find that only a...
Suddenly my vision wasn’t clear and I couldn’t hear what they were saying. Then, I sat on my chair at the back of the class and my friend was waving her hand to grab my attention. She walked to my place and kept calling my name and it was the most annoying sound I’ve ever heard, as if she is screaming in my ear.
Do you remember your favorite “School Lunch”? I do, I essentially had two favorites; pizza and hamburgers with fries. Think back, wasn’t there at least one school lunch that the lunch ladies made that everyone was so excited to eat. Kids that habitually brought their super hero lunch box with thermos would leave it at home and be in line for pizza or burgers and fries. We could also go back for “seconds”, it was the best meal of the week including what was served at home. The federal government has been involved in the NSLP (National School Lunch Program) since 1946 with the implementation of the National School Lunch Act. These initial programs developed the commodity distribution program for schools, institutions, needy households, summer
It all began when my tutor informed us that we have to find our work
After class started, Mr. Griffin walked in, immaculate, and on time as usual, and asked for the homework. Most students had passed theirs in, but Mr. Griffin persisted in bothering those w...
Many people wants to know how come we bring our own lunch to school. The school lunch isn't good to start off plus it doesn't even fill you up. I know the schools think they're helping with obesity and unhealthy, but not everyone is obese or unhealthy. Many kids be very hungry in school and many people worry about there stomach more than work.
My argument is something not many people have to deal with, but for some it is a struggle they live with everyday including myself. These people I happen to be talking about are vegans, and how we have very limited lunch options in school, so I am going to put it upon myself to discuss why schools should consider vegan lunches. Doing this would help give everyone an opportunity to have a full meal at lunch, nutrition and health, could possibly increase test scores.
I took my bag and walked out the class without looking at other students who were present in the class and laughing at me. I was walking along the sidewalk and thinking WHY THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS TO ME? …. WHY THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS TO ME?
