I’ve lived in the Caribbean my whole life, I was born in the US Virgin Island of St. Croix. I have traveled to the states many times lived there as well, but nowhere else can replace where I was born and somewhere that I feel safe. An island that is full of adventures, beautiful Caribbean Sea, and the food has so much flavor. The moment I left my home to relocate to the states I missed every bit of the Island. It’s a place that summer is all year round, where there is no need for any air condition. Twenty-four years living and enjoying the sun is the best thing that anyone would love to experience. We have activities that never ends, from the beginning of the year to the end. The beaches of every corner on the island is as blue as

As my family and I walked into the plane, we were excited. The plane ride to jamaica stopped in L.A. and, after that, it went to jamaica. When we arrived in Jamaica it was really hot, but it was wet. I immediately took off my sweater I was wearing on the plane. We took a bus to our hotel. Then we started swimming in the water park. Every night there was a show in the main stage. The next day we woke up early to go to chukka. It was awesome. We saw a great house, rode on horses, and did a challenge course. After we came back from Chukka, we went to the water park and swimming pool at the hotel. Then we ate at fresh, which we went most of the time. The next day we woke up earlier to go to the dolphin cove. The bus was an hour late, but the wait
Several years ago, a certain potato chip company threw out the challenge in a new advertising campaign: "Bet you can't eat just one!”... While it’s quite difficult to eat just one chip, it’s just as difficult to visit just one Caribbean island. How then do you choose the right one for your vacation? Well, we recommend visiting them all, but for now, we will highlight a few to get you started. These countries, while similar in many ways do vary in size, shape and even culture. Each is unique in its own way, some even more famous than others, but one thing is sure; the vibe is good all over. It’s called the “Caribbean Vibes” It’s a certain ambience that will stimulate, invigorate and captivate you. Be careful though, many vacationers have fallen
The azure waters where I can see the stunning aquatic creatures, the olive palm trees that dance side to side to the music in the wind, and the astonishing Spanish culture. All of these are mutual features Puerto Rico and Honduras (Central American Country) share. I am proud to represent such beautiful and cultural places. My mother is from Honduras, and my biological father is from Puerto Rico. I was born in North Carolina in a minor town named Saint Paul's. I do not dream of becoming a famous idol or a millionaire. I dream of being able to achieve goals that will impact my life and the rest of the world.
First of all I would like to write about one of my favorite place of my native country Dominican Republic and this beautiful place it’s Punta Cana. I will always remember Punta Cana because, I spend my wonderful honeymoon in one of the most beautiful resort that they has over there. Punta Cana has too many resorts we can choose. Situated on the eastern side of the Dominican Republic, Punta Cana enjoys breezy warm weather throughout the year with warmer and higher temperatures between the months of May and December. There isn't that much rainfall during the year as the region is flat. The international airport in Punta Cana is one of the busiest in all of Dominican Republic and it is accessible from most airport hubs and cities in the world.
The earliest form of resistance against the contradictions inherent in the nature of the societies created by enslavement and indentured servitude can be seen long before the Haitian Revolution. There were many documented attempts against the lives of the white slave owners, but known was so critical as the events that mark the Haitian Revolution. The Haitian Revolution, which took place in the end of the 1700’s, was a defining moment that sought to end France’s control of the Island of Saint Dominique or modern day Haiti. This resistance began as an attempt to gain retribution for the hostile and inhuman conditions that the slaves were subjected to. According to C. L. R., the contradictions inherent in the nature of the societies created by enslavement, indenture and colonialism in the Caribbean created the very responses to an insurrection, by those who were being subjected to cruel and unjust

Living in two different places is an experience that opens people’s mind to a new way of thinking. The diversities of each country has its own appeal and often times, we find ourselves comparing and contrasting these nations based a variety of aspects. Despite bearing some minor similarities, the differences in geography, climate, tradition, and economy between the two countries, Jamaica and the United States of America are extensive.
The mind-blowing range of soft sandy beaches, delightful landscapes, exceptional shoreline and remarkable hospitality on Caribbean Sea, Barbados is eminent for a pleasure of beach holidays in Caribbean region and quite a favourite escape for travellers from UK and other parts of Europe. The extraordinary beach extravaganza and beyond belief range of sightseeing along with kind locals and lively lifestyle makes this breathtaking island more amusing and enjoyable on Caribbean holidays.
United States and Jamaica have many similarities such as they were both under British rule for several years, and they both elect officials to govern the country. However the differences between the two are quite vast when it comes to the quality of education, government, and healthcare. When the three are compared it is clear to see that in terms of where is a better place for a child to grow up the United States is a better place to be.
The beautiful, radiant and vibrant island that goes by the name of Jamaica is located on the Windward region of the Caribbean. It is one of the best place to be on earth. Our motto “Out of Many One People”, symbolizes the vast cultures and races that make up this beautiful island. Jamaica the land I love, lives on in each individual and leaves a positive impact even with just one visit or no visit at all. In this essay I will elaborate on the various cultures that build up the island, the different attractions the country has to offer and an overview of the unique lifestyle of Jamaicans.
Using Expository Texts in the Classroom Every day in college I have read an expository text, or so it has seemed, and I don’t think that is very far off from the truth. These subject-centered pieces offer little in the way of dialogue and creativity, and are more about educating the reader on a specific subject. They present information based on facts and research and can be works such as textbooks, journal articles, anthologies, and non-fiction books (Grand Canyon University, 2010). Expository texts are very important to students to be able to disseminate and analyze and understand, and also they need to be able to write expository texts of their own.
I got dazzled once again by the beauty of St. Martin. St. Martin is undoubted a special place for vacation and one of the most beautiful islands in the world. Among all the places I have visited, it is the most unique. If anybody asks me about a vacation spot, the first thing that comes up in my mind is St. Martin. This is not for it is in my country but for its explicit natural beauty, social environment and the facilities available there.
...autiful and exciting place. The water is unlike any other body of water that I had ever laid my eyes upon. Worthy of the nickname ‘God’s swimming pool”, it has a seemingly endless horizon that reaches as far as the eye can see. The sand is so fine and powdery and it amazes me at how it can change textures with just a little bit of water. Perhaps the most amazing part of the beach is the vast array of wildlife that inhabits the area. From fish to crabs, you will never see the same creature twice. Each animal has their own distinct characteristics which make it exciting to explore and try to find more. My favorite place in the world is definitely the beach and I highly recommend visiting and seeing it with your own two eyes. It is an infinite world of expression, a paradise of color. There is no possibility of disappointment when it comes to the serenity of the ocean.
